The atmosphere is warm and friendly, very idealistic. I have been coming to the centre for 10 years and the centre has always functioned on the effort of volunteers who are both inspired and inspiring. The particular path of Buddhist teachings available through the Diamond Way centre spoke directly to me and my motivations. I understand there are other paths with different methods, but the Diamond Way centre has connected with me personally and fits my lifestyle. Active, western, full of surplus and inquisitive.

A great place to learn and practice meditation and be connected with the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. I love it! :-) I have been coming to the Diamond Way Centre for many years and it has been an experience full of growth and development. Before meditation, there is usually a talk on a Buddhist topic relevant to the Karma Kagyu Lineage given by one of the practitioners.

Everyone here was very kind and welcoming. The talk that I attended was about compassion which was nice to hear. The center is clean and very nicely decorated.Unfortunately, after the talk, questions I had about the meditations, 8fold path, the precepts, and sila seemed totally foreign... I must admit I was shocked to be offered a beer.I do not mean to be critical without justification. I wish Metta for everyone here. However In my understanding, the precepts and the 8fold path are at the very core of Buddhism. They are the direct way out of suffering, and cannot be ignored. How are they not known to the experienced practitioners here?

Highly recommended for both an introduction to basic Buddhism and teachings on Vajrayana teachings. The Level of the 3rd turning of the wheel in Buddha's teachings.

Very nice place, teachings that make sense and amazing meditation. Open on Wednesdays unless there is a special event.
