Fix My Hot Tub

After having our Jacuzzi hot tub for a year and a half we had some questions and spoke to Matt, the manager of the Ancaster Store. He contacted the maintenance people and they promptly set up a home visit. At this visit we met Zack who competently answered our questions and gave us tips. Since he didn’t have a part that our tub needed he ordered it and the very next day Sean came to finish the service. Both young men were professional, cordial, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This is what service should be!

Most ridiculous experience ever. The service technician came to fix my new hot tub that I bought from jacuzzi Vaughan. I wasn’t happy with my purchase ever. But anyways we are talking about the idiot who came to fix my hot tub. I was upset that new hot tub that I bought is leaking water from one of the points. And the technician started swearing at me that I have been sent here to fix your tub. Imagine any technician who come to your home and he started swearing at you. Thanks but no thanks. I would rather take my business somewhere else. Another ridiculous company with ridiculous employees. If you read this please avoid this place.

I bought a Jacuzzi hot tub (J345) in 2008 and have had it for 5-1/2 years without an issue ever. We just experienced our first repair and the gang at fix my hot tub were great in getting the appointment set and getting the service done at a reasonable time and amount. And being in cottage country, that makes it extra hard but they came through. Special thanks to Matt the service guy for going the extra way.

I moved and was happy to have a hot tub for the first time but I did not know how to take care of it. I tried googling directions but they were so complicated I just ended up not using the hot tub. My son told me to try Fix My Hot Tub so I called them. Matt, the very professional and friendly technician, came for my appointment right on time with all the chemicals and instructions needed for my family to enjoy our hot tub. He took the time to show me exactly what to do and how to make the hot tub safe for use. He brought all the right supplies and wrote on them when and how much to use. It was much less complicated than I thought and now we have an awesome hot tub! The customer service was excellent and I would recommend Fix My Hot Tub to anybody out there who needs a bit of help! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Technician arrived at our home, took a look at our spa and told us he was not familiar with this type and would need to call someone - despite the fact that we had preselected the model on the template before booking. He was off put that our spa was located within our deck and we found him rather rude. Though the servicing side where the panel opens was available and accessible he left and after doing absolutely nothing and told us we would not be charged for the lack of service (fair enough, we were disappointed).But here's where it gets worse. I was billed for the 1 minute of nothing. When I called I was told there was no error message on the spa unit (completely dishonest) and when I inquired further by sending actual pictures I can't get a reply to an email despite being promised that someone would be in touch, in fact, my notes are now being completely ghosted and ignored.The website states: For Any Brand

***BEWARE*** Waited 9 days for a service call. Even though I gave them precise diagnostics (error code on the controls ) indicating a spa pack replacement, they still didn't bring parts. Charged me $135 for wasted 10 minute visit to tell what I already knew!! Offered to order parts (which would take 3-5 days) at full retail price and to reschedule a week after the parts arrive. 20+ days to fix a hot tub is unreasonable. The estimate they gave me for the spa pack parts was $1050 and these parts can be gotten at most hot tub supply places for $570. Of course, they propose to charge another service if I was stupid enough to use them again. Called to complain but apparently Management doesn't care. ***USE ANOTHER COMPANY***

Horrible service. Came to my house for 1 min. Couldn’t fix the problem and charged me full 1 hours works for 10 seconds at my house. I wasn’t informed until AFTER I booked theAppointment and they came that I would be charged if they aren’t able to fix it. Never agreed to that.

From the initial phone call, to meeting the technician on site all staff are knowledgeable and personable. I received same day service and the cost was quite reasonable. I can think of no reason to use anyone else for servicing my hot tub. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their tub serviced.

would give less than a star if I can. Totally unfair service only interested to collect all those deposits they take. Technician comes in and says I did not meet their criteria when clearly i had 2 ft of accessible tub from all sides, power available and water ready. They didnt even spend 10 min and charged the $150 + tax. Their manager was not helpful and overall terrible experience. Would not recommend ever.Ofcourse you will blame the customer. One can easily look at your reviews and know. Your instructions interms of deck" are not mentioned in your website or emails

I had really unpleasant experience with this company(fixmyhottub.ca); I booked service for my Hot tub (work order # 0022079) to perform inspection and diagnostics and they never performed any inspection or service for me despite the $168 which I paid them. After many promises and run arounds and I finally gave up on them.It is up to you if you want to go with this company but I will never trust it.
