Great family fitness club, complete with restaurant and bar. Bistro staff are the best. Kids love their tennis and swimming lessons. Parents love the fitness centre!

I was a long time member at Mayfair Parkway, then at Lakeshore when it first opened.Subsequently I left the club because I stopped playing tennis.Recently I reconnected with Lakeshore for a pickleball (PB) clinic.Having taken up PB only 2 years ago, I have taken many lessons at different locations. The PB clinic taught by Sandra Barrett is the best learning experience for me.Sandra not only taught us techniques but also strategies and shot selection. Her drills are FUN and a very effective way to help us apply what we are being taught.Granted everyone learns differently and every pro has his/her approach.Speaking for myself, this was a tremendously enjoyable and stimulating experience.

Signed up for the wet, splash and laugh swimming camp. 6 years old had a fun time so that was the good part. The negative part is that because she is learning how to swim she was put in a lifejacket basically the whole time. She came home saying that she needs to wear a lifejacket because otherwise she will sink, even though she has done over a year of swim lessons, including free swim, without a lifejacket. The swim lesson is only for about 30 minutes if that. It's true that she is a beginner, but we were hoping that this camp would offer an hour of instruction as advertised. It is definitely not meant for swimming development. Also, they are not allowed to shower afterwards unless this is specifically requested, which we only found about about when she came home saying that she couldn't shower. It is very low-transparency.Sign up your kid if it's just for the fun of it, but not if you are doing it also for the swimming lessons.

We have loved the multi-sports camp for our 4 year old, and just wanted to thank the wonderful admin team and the camp Counsellor’s for their great work. As a forever educator at heart, I love seeing excellent programs for kids. I taught our son to swim at the age of three and he loves it, so having the opportunity to swim and learn a new sport like Tennis, all in one day is excellent fun and great for his development. He also comes home, ready to pass out- you need to be paid extra for this ;-). Big shout out to Magnus Peterson, for making Christian Bailey-Bardi feel so welcomed! I see your nature rapport with kids, and glad you are with the team. See you next year, for sure!

Accidental discovery, because I got invited to a Christmas dinner. It is a beautiful club with luxurious facilities for exercise and fitness! There was a room that fit 15 people easily, spaced out and the service provided by Siva was amazing. Food is incredibly affordable. I had the blackened salmon with rice and vegetables. I would too gladly go back again!

Questionable billing practices. The government made announcement on Jan 3, 2022 that gyms would be closing for at least 3 weeks due to Covid. Mayfair decided that they should continue to bill members during the shutdown even though they cannot provide the services for which members are paying. They wrote Mayfair Clubs is asking for your understanding as we continue to process membership billing during this 3-week period. This will allow Mayfair Clubs to retain and support our employees during this time."It's very nice that they want to retain and support their employees but this was an arbitrary decision that I had no input on. Had I been asked

Just know that if you plan on leaving your children there while you work out, the woman who runs Child Space is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her name is Kim, and she is well loved and respected by the parents and children there.

Nice place. But it closes too early. It was not like this before. Closing at 9 on Friday?

This is an extremely nice club. I came here for a university squash tournament and loved the facilities. There's something like 13 squash courts and a doubles court. The changing rooms have a hot tub, sauna and steam room which were a godsend. The restaurant is a little bit pricy, but the food is very good. Had a great experience here!
