I'm impressed with the constable behind front desk I was dealing with recently. Cst. S. H. has been incredibly helpful, genuinely interested in what I had to say, and her great attitude is what prompted me to make this positive review. Normally, I do not leave reviews on cops, simply because there are too many variables in every scenario that involves the police, and often times - more than one truth" to be told. Thank you very much for saving me and my special need son in June 25/ 2015 you all amazing, your care and service go beyond that day that were I am now and my special son, that we survived the tragic happen to us from hands of people we trusted most who we never expect to harm us but our life restored from all your help and other people involved . we owed our safety and life of your help thats including the west end division too. Prior employment required me to hand reports to officers almost daily, West Division always had some of the most friendly officers. Dropping off video discs or reports, receptionists behind the desk were great as well. I don't think everybody dumping negative reviews on these guys realized how taxing it is on them to deal with the worst of society day after day. Funny part is when your wallet gets stolen or somebody breaks into your garage, you're going to be the first to call these guys for help. Don't bite the hand that feeds you

The call taker I had the misfortune to talk to yesterday morning was a BULLY. While I was trying to report a complaint, he interrupted me constantly and told me I was being ridiculous". Because he wouldn't listen

I recently moved into a horrible neighbourhood. I had a series of very negative incidents happen to me. When I contacted the west end police service, I was treated with great respect, courteous, friendly accurate information related to my three separate illegal activities which directly affected me. I really did not know such brave officers could help me do significantly by offering sound advice, most excellent walking beats, more K-9 Security in this awful neighbourhood. I’m very impressed with such awesome, continual service provided by EPS which makes me feel much more secure and safe i. this problematic neighbourhood I’ve moved into!Many frown on the police service however, most officers are very fair, are able to provide justice in my community and, have proven to be such a great asset to many. So, before you judge these very hardworking professional officers and personnel ask yourself if you got help from EPS before you pass harsh judgements snd negative assumptions upon them. After all, they have a huge impact on many ongoing awful problems continuing to occur within the city of Edmonton. I’m satisfied and think we ate all very privileged to have such a very good police service serving everyone and anyone!Try not to assume you know exactly what a officer does or says! Many officers have a job to do and, easily help create a much safer sense of well-being in a atea not very secure or safe. Could you do that?Maybe instead of looking at very negative opinions, try changing your perspectives and thank a cop or officer for all their service which positively affects your everyday life. It’s not easy to keep peace and justice in this big city! With all the very angry, mentally ill, drug snd alcohol addictions an officers job can not be easy! Be grateful we have such a service to use when our lives get very difficult!Many Officers sure have helped me and I can not find the words to thank all of them!Because of their current very difficult jobs, step back and really think just how privileged, grateful we can all be knowing EPS is there when needed.

Horrible customer service. The one officer looked at me and didn't bother to ask if i needed help. Instead starting typing on the computer" at the front counter. That was awkward because no one was in line just me sitting down like sign says at the front entrance. But 10 mins later another officer came helped me out.I totally understand why this place has 2.7 ratting."

The people here so friendly and helpful. I was in a hit and run situation. The insurance need me to report this thing to the police. And the front desk are so detailed and help to report it. Appreciate it. Strongly recommend.

My boy Yassin was busy saving lives getting us home. He gets a big 5 star review. Eps pulls him over and breathalyzes him even though he has has uber stickers in wide view. My boy Yassin is the true hero.

The ‘No - Can Do’ attitude of the clerks dealing with customers is appalling. Two of them ended up serving me; young kid with absolutely no manners who almost knocked me over while we were going outside to look at my vehicle (I was reporting an accident) and who could not even hold the door open for me, and a young girl with a bad attitude who was more concerned with testing her abilities with the clerk sitting behind her regarding movie soundtracks than serving me - I am serious! She would stop every few minutes and focus on the movie soundtrack contest they were having between themselves! Both of them treated customers with disrespect (I watched how customers were treated in line before me), and spoke condescendingly. We pay their salaries! Have some respect for the public you serve!! I guess I expected nothing less.

Had the great displeasure of talking to a receptionist who clearly didn't have a clue what she walk talking about and purposely hung up on me. Glad to see our tax dollars going down the drain. If you can't do your job properly maybe it's time for a career change.
