Oxford Learning Kitchener

My 2 kids went for summer camps last year. They had a great time with all the various activities. It was a nice opportunity for academic summer refreshment. I have no doubt they both benefited from their summer Oxford time in the current school year. Thanks Oxford!

Three of my boys attended Oxford Learning that is now on Victoria Street in Kitchener. We knew our boys needed help and consistency with their writing skills. We liked the fact that at Oxford, they worked on their writing skills all year rather than just one semester at a time as in school. I highly recommend the program and the staff have been wonderful in helping the boys succeed. Two ended up in University and one is headed to University in the fall. They are all glad that they worked on and developed their writing skills while at Oxford and now understand why we pushed for them to write and communicate using the Oxford methods and tools. A special thanks to Melissa and Cassandra who always kept us in the loop and made sure the boys progressed on their plans.

My two daughters attend Oxford Learning - Victoria Street location in Kitchener and I have to say, not only have they improved academically from the tutoring they have received. But the ladies who run this location are amazing to deal with and very supportive. I would recommend if your child needs a little extra help in school - 10/10!!

I had the opportunity to have a child evaluated here, and when I discovered their unique and specific-to-the-child approach to learning, I was sold. They consider the whole child and they understand child development, which is key for robust learning. They care about every student, and the teachers obviously enjoy their jobs at Oxford. This is important for me as a parent - do the staff like each other? Do they like their jobs? Are they organized? Kids pick up in those things, and Oxford seems like a place where staff love kids AND love their work. Whether for enrichment or “catching up”, it will be a great experience. And, you will see a difference.

Before my daughter started school, I was concerned about her ability to adjust to kindergarten classroom routines and keep up with the learning as she would be starting JK at the age of 3. She attended the Little Readers program at Oxford and absolutely loved it! The teaching staff are wonderful, can engage the children and keep them focused, and most of all they make learning fun. My daughter had a very smooth transition to JK, entered school knowing her letters and sounds and could even sound out some words! Oxford Learning Kitchener gave her a strong academic foundation, and her love of reading still continues today.

We enrolled our kids during COVID as we were unable to provide them with the 1:1 help they needed to get caught up to their grade level in reading and writing. Our kids have gone from hating to read to enjoying their reading time at night before bed. Both kids are now reading above their grade level!The staff is great as well, super engaging and supportive. The summer camps are also great and each year my kids ask me specifically about Oxford camps.I can't say enough great things about the the Kitchener location and literally recommend it to everyone :)

We are very happy with our daughter's wonderful experience at Oxford. She has excelled in school tremendously after being tutored at Oxford with the amazing staff. We really like Melissa with her kindness, guidance and professionalism. Melissa is an expert in her academic background, and guided Jayne through the Oxford Learning program. It was well worth it!

My daughter has been going to Oxford Learning Center Kitchener since she was 2.5-3 years old. She joined the Little Readers programs and then focused on Math and English tuition in her later grades. She is now in high school and in every grade, she has done very well. Even in high school, my daughter continues to get grades over 85-90% and above. All of my daughter's teachers at Oxford are very friendly, patient and resourceful. Putting my daughter at Oxford is the best investment in my daughter's life.

Our son struggled with math and thankfully we found Oxford. The Oxford team assessed our son and put together a plan to help him achieve his goals. They worked with him on not only math, but organization, test prep and studying. The staff were amazing, supportive and flexible due to a busy sports schedule. Our son graduated high school with honours (university level) and is ready for his next chapter. A huge thank you to Oxford for helping him accomplish this and prepare him for post secondary.
