Tyla at Parlour is amazing, I have long difficult hair and always come out of the salon feeling refreshed and looking beautiful. I used to go to Vancouver to get my hair done but now Vancouver level hair styling is available in Prince Rupert. Parlour has a beautiful view of the harbour to enjoy while you get pampered.

The ladies at parlour are so talented at what they do! Always learning new things and really keeping up with tends. I am never disappointed after a visit with Tyla as she’s given me my best hair cuts. My hair always feels and looks amazing after.Chelsea is also really great. She’s fit my son in last minute for hair emergencies and I am so happy with the services these ladies have given me.Definitely worth it! The view of the harbour is pretty amazing too!

LASHES: 5/5Just keep in mind to ask what sizes, length and curls are available as they don't carry a huge inventory/selection**Had a full set of Lashes done by Alana, we were running a bit late to finish as I had another appointment right after, she was extremely accommodating and made time to finish the set later the next day! We went over what I was looking for, figured out what she had to work with and we were able to both have a plan for a perfect set.They look beautiful! Have not had any shed or issues 4 days after. Totally recommend her.HAIR: 3/5 ;Resolution 5/5I had Janessa as a colour stylist, unfortunately even with photos and consultation, sometimes your not on the same page as your hair stylist and you come out of the sink disapointed.It happens.I was really unhappy with my colour as well as talked out of the cut I went in for. Wanted cool ash balyage with dark roots, ended up with all over brown 2 tone hair with a bad root band.I spoke up and was honest about not being happy. I sent Tyla a message the next morning after sleeping on it and though they both were unwilling to correct the colour, they did issue me a full refund and recommended I try a different salon to fix it.

Janessa does absolutely amazing colour work! She’s bold and not afraid to listen to what you want. Treat yourself—the service is well worth it!

I have been going to Tyla since she opened her salon in Prince Rupert. I’ve always really enjoyed our visits and have been grateful for her knowledge and all she does. I always leave feeling very happy with my cut and colour.When she was away she had Chelsea do my cut and colour who is also lovely - she also did an absolutely wonderful job and was very friendly. I am happy to see either of these amazing ladies while enjoying the beautiful ocean view!
