So went in for cleaning and was nonchalantly informed I may have mouth cancer. Yup. While freezing my mouth the doctor decided that was a good time to tell me I could have something that may kill me! Seriously! Then preceeded to tell me not to worry and that's its probably nothing". "I'll refer you to a dental surgeon to be sure".This is how and when you drop a major bomb on an unsuspecting patient?! While sticking them in the gums and inner cheek with needles?! I literally just finished saying the last month was probably one of the hardest of my life do to a workplace injury that could have killed me. I was filled with anxiety already and she was fully aware! I sat there stunned holding back the tears while flashes of my 10 year old son and leaving him without a father consumed me. I left immediately. Never again will I step foot in your practice. Shame on you.You preceeded to act like it was no big deal. Next time? Wait till after the needles are out of their mouth. Or maybe sit them down and explain calmly and with some compassion. Telling someone they may have a condition that may kill them? Well that should be handled with a little more empathy and class.Oh

Absolutely wonderful! I first came to Carlton Dental as they were one of the few open during the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic for emergency services; at that time I was an active opiate addict. At no point did I feel like I was treated as lesser for my addiction; I was treated with the utmost respect and like I had a medical issue rather than beingstigmatized and dehumanized (as is common).I returned a year later for more work, and reception was very congratulatory on my success with getting off of opiates. Their work has been impeccable; staff are very open about what they are doing, and I have full confidence and trust in them while getting work done. 10/10, would recommend.

I looked around a bit before choosing a dental office because when you don’t have insurance the prices fluctuate wildly, and theirs are lower than most others. They’re upfront about the costs too and they will give you a quote beforehand. Aside from that, everyone I’ve talked to there is nice and willing to answer any questions. My teeth always feel clean and smooth after leaving.

They are all very friendly every time i have gone this year. Even the receptionist - very good customer service — which is hard to find when you are calling a new dentist to book a new apt, most places they are rude.I am really happy with the service i have received here. They always call you to remind you of your appointment which is great! And they always try to follow up with you so you keep a good maintenance of your teeth :)

Misdiagnosis....The one star is for the hygienist, who was lovely. Unfortunately the dentist and receptionist were not. The dentist was twenty minutes late for my appointment, very rushed and did not communicate with me at all. As I was checking out, the receptionist told me I had four cavities, and needed to make an appointment next week for fillings.Four cavities since my last visit (different dentist)???? That seemed unlikely. When I asked for clarification, she told me the dentist was busy, but I had a cavity in each quadrant, but couldn’t give me any more details. Patients cannot give informed consent to a procedure if they have not been informed!I got a second opinion, full X-rays, and a thorough exam elsewhere that confirmed there are NO cavities. None, let alone four! I’m not sure if this dentist is just bad at her job, or running an insurance scam, but unless you want unnecessary, expensive, painful procedures, steer clear.
