Mr. Boone arrived at my house half an hour after I called him from Chelsea and opened my door so as far as I'm concerned, he did an excellent job at what I considered to be a fair price, given that he had to close his shop and travel. He didn't even give me a hard time about hiding an extra key; just quietly suggested it.

Wasted 2 hours of my time, mis-cut my chipped car key that I provided, charged me to boot. Tried to blame everything except his ineptitude. Should have retired years ago - sad, really. The kid at the hardware store could have done a better job. Avoid this business if you value your time and money.

Beware! this guy is a con! He made me a key for my truck to the VIN number and it didn't work he charge me a hundred sixty dollars. Ended up going to the dealer with the same VIN number getting the correct key for $18 went back to explain two Boone he said that's the way it goes and wouldn't even refund me any of my money at all so stay away from this grumpy old man who can't even make keys right unless you want to end up losing money or not getting the right key and still losing money

The keys he made where incorrect because of his mistake in taking down the key code. He would not make the correct key for me unless I paid him again. What kind of person doesn't own up and make things right when it's there error. And he charges $30 a key. Way overpriced. Do not use this locksmith, he is not an ethical person.

Don't dislike. Just had nothing done for the $140 I spent trying to get help from them. They are probably great for unlocking doors and car doors. However newer cars with chip ingnitions are out of the question for them. They can't help with this situation. Do your research first... Save yourself some money...
