They installed a heat pump system in my home in 2018. Recently my heat pump stopped working. Took two weeks to get an appointment for someone to look at it. The technician couldn’t fix it and said I had to make another appointment for someone else to look at it. Turns out the lady that makes the appointments took a long weekend won’t be back in the office till Wednesday (this is Friday). So I got to wait another 5 days just to have them book another appointment.They are the worst!!!

I've hired Wilsons Mechanical to install and service heat pumps on two houses over the last 7 years. Both times they've been professional, ethical and easy to work with at every step of the way. I can't say enough good about this company. Whether you're looking for an installation, service or both, you should definitely give them a call and see for yourself!

Wilson's Mechanical / Halifax Heating was clearly not the lowest price that I received. But I must say that it was the best value by far. I had them remove my Oil furnace and tank then upgrade to a heat pump system. The friendly knowledgeable staff were professionals at there trades and did work that reflected there care and experience. This is a large locally owned operation that will be there for me if I ever need help with my system. I would like to do a shout out to James, Donna, Phil, Kyle, Chris and Blake for there professionalism and positive attitudes.Personally I recommend this firm to anyone looking to do an upgrade to an efficient environmentally friendly solution to heat and cool your residence.Thank you very much for making this a pleasurable experience.Bruce

We had our heat pump installed by another company at the end of February and had problems with it until a week ago. The air conditioning never worked and we had the company that installed it out several times with no results. We had our furnace installed by Wilsons 4 years ago so we call them and the sent Alex Lo Vol out to check it out and he was able to fix the problems and it now works great. Alex was great and explained everything that he did to fix the problem I would recommend them 100 percent.

Had someone come out yesterday. Very happy with the people on the phone and the Guy (Scott) who came out was very professional and really new his stuff. They were on time for when they said they would be here and everything worked when he left. Would use them again and recommend them to at least 5 friends!!

I couldn't be happier with Wilsons Mechanical or the work they did installing my heat pumps. Out of all the contractors I contacted - Wilsons was the most helpful and responsive - and no hard-sell tactics at all. Jess was very knowledgeable and fantastic at answering my questions. She helped me figure out the right option for my house. The install went super smoothly over 2 days with Thomas, Taylor and the rest of the team. 10/10 from me - if you want a heat pump installed in Nova Scotia - these are the folks to call. I opted for 3 Mitsubishi heads instead of a multi-zone and so far it works absolutely perfectly.

UPDATE!!We had our heat pump installed and we love it! Installation was a breeze. They came when they said they would, left no mess behind and explained everything along the way. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner! If you’re considering a heat pump I highly recommend asking for Troy. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and helped us make our home more comfortable.Very professional, on time and answered all of our questions.We had our home evaluated for heat pump installation and are excited to move forward.Will update after installation.

Jessie Macintosh was excellent. She helped me find the best system for me, access a generous grant to help fund it and followed through until installation was complete to ensure that everything went smoothly. The installation team were wonderful, very easy to have in my home and very professional.
