I had to put one of my babies down. Reception was wonderful and welcoming. The vet didn't have a very nice bedside manner. Took a unnecessary test that cost me another $200. Barely talked to me, no eye contact. I did recieve a beautiful symphony card signed by the whole staff. I will definitely go again, ask for different vet.

Great staff and always able to get my senior dog in to see a doctor when needed. Love the Wellness program and have been a member since it started! Well worth it to properly care for your four-legged family!

We have been bringing our cats here for decades. Absolutely love all of the staff, technicians and doctors. They treat our cats as if they were their own. I highly recommend this vet facility.

Our experience there started out okay with the female doctor. 10 week old kitten with worms. However they failed to give us enough medicine. When we called to get more they acted like we gave him to much and it was our fault there wasn't enough. What I am most upset about is how they handled the spaying of our kitten. They gave us the impression it could be done quickly as soon as he was cleared of worms, hooked us into their kitten package"

I wish I could give a bonus star! I just finished a visit for my 16 year old cat with a suspected UTI and have tears of gratitude rolling down my cheeks! My cat has a long history of urinary issues and has been traumatized by other vets attempting to obtain samples. I’ve come to prepare myself for the report that my usually sweet cat became a feral beast once behind the scenes. Our technician Hannah was absolutely incredible! She took the time to build rapport with my old girl and prepared everything so the draw could happen as quick as possible. Everyone left the appointment happy and they actually got the sample. Dr. McWilliam’s was also great! He described treatment options, was very informative, and never made me feel pressured. I highly recommend VCA!

If I could give 0 stars, that wouldn’t even suffice, this place deserves to be in the negatives. This is the worst veterinary hospital ever. The vets here are 100% incompetent. My dog was perfectly healthy with a slight limp that she developed after a week of intense running, that I was concerned about. The vet, Tiffany, was 100% incompetent and prescribed my 7lb dog a half a pill of 25mg carprofen. My dog got so sick, and has non stop been throwing up. Before coming to this awful place my dog was completely happy, expressed no type of pain, and was running around. After this visit and taking carprofen just 1 time she is so lethargic and sick. These vets do not care about the betterment of animals and are only here to milk money out of peoples pockets. Not only did she prescribe my dog the incorrect medication, but also Tiffany was so horrible and tried to examine my dogs leg by purposely inflicting pain and then saying my dog was in pain. She is so incompetent, I’m surprised this office hired her! I need a refund, and I need Tiffany to pay my vet bills after putting my dog at risk!! I’m disgusted of her and the people who work here!

Two out of three veterinarians I've visited with my animals had been a good experience. My third experience, I absolutely have to question the competence of that vet and wonder more about the morals of the VCA establishment...as in how closely do these vets actually follow their Veterinarian's Oath"?This veterinarian called for an ultrasound

There is no rating low enough for this Vet Clinic. They are NOT an emergency clinic, and despite what their on hold voice says, they are NOT caring and compassionate. My dog Stella, a Great Dane/Boxer, was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, and we thought we would be lucky to have her for a year. Dr. Brooks was her Vet, and saw her a few weeks ago, because Stella was finally experiencing pain, and we wanted to prepare for what would come next. Three days ago, Stella's health took a very quick change, and she just stopped eating and did not want to enter act anymore. We knew it was time and called the Vet to make an appointment to end her pain. We were told they had no appointments until 10 days later. We took the appointment, and hoped Stella would be okay. The next 2 days was awful. Stella not only had stopped eating, she also stopped drinking water, her stomach filled with fluid, her breathing became difficult, she was disoriented, could barely stand, when she did stand she was shaking and she would fall down. Stella weighed 115 pounds, falling for her was very painful, especially on the leg that had the cancerous tumor. We called the Vet because we could not make Stella suffer for another 8 days. They told us there was nothing they could do, told us to call other vets to see if anyone else could help us. We spent 2 hours calling vets before we finally found one that would help us. I have NEVER had a vet refuse to help a dying pet, and for them to do this was beyond uncaring and clearly NO compassion was given. We have been taking our pets to a VCA Clinic for over 20 years, this one for the last 5 years. I will NEVER take a pet to any of these clinics again, and will tell everyone I know about the trauma and pain both my family and our beloved pet went through these last few days. They should be ashamed, and they should NEVER again say they care about your pets well being, or that they are compassionate, that's a lie.

I LOVE this veterinary hospital! The lady at the front counter is always nice, and the doc/aids are amazing. You can tell that the staff here really loves animals and enjoys their jobs. They really make an effort to get your pet in and deliver the best care. 10/10 recommend.

Our dog occasionally gets ear infections and we simply wanted the prescription ear medicine. They tried to sell us a very expensive treatment plan instead. We went to our previous vet in mount vernon who made it very simple, easy and effective without high pressure selling treatment plans.
