Sport Chek

Very disappointed. Went in for skates on a Saturday afternoon, absolutely zero coverage. It's not like the skates are in piles so I can help myself, I REQUIRE staff to get the skates from the back, yet no staff bothered to even approach or make their presence known. Waited for about 20-25 minutes before deciding to go shop elsewhere. I get that it was Saturday afternoon and that no one wants to work on Saturday afternoon, but this was outright pathetic. It's not the customers job to chase staff around the store. When we were walking out of the store, we did notice that there was more staff members in some area than others, like 5 workers around the service shop with no customers in sight, 3 people wandering aimlessly the shoe section or the one cashier actually helping customers while the second cashier is socializing with another employee. While part of the fault definitely does lie with the employees themselves, I'm more bothered by the ineffective management that led to such a situation, no one to actually police employee wasted time will always lead to dissatisfied customers and ultimately ends up losing the store a sale. I like Sport Chek as a store but will not be back to this location.

Very Rude and UnprofessionalOne particular staff was very rude and unprofessional at their Mayfair Mall location. It's the first time I am feeling like being made fun off for asking about a product. Indirect insult with sarcasm is not good in customer service. He didn't have good product knowledge so he was just talking nonsense and pointing to videos being played on screens. He was also randomly stopping customers from queue and not letting them pass to checkout counters where two good agents were waiting.I did purchase the shoes I wanted as there were other good staffs who were very good with their product knowledge. It's unbelievable how they are not able to identify one bad apple which is spoiling their reputation. I hope they give him some basic customer service lessons again.Very bad experience. Just feel bad for his co-workers.

I ordered some pants that were on sale for $26.97 and they arrived with a sale tag on them for $15.97!! I emailed Sport Chek this info and received zero reply from them. I called their customer service line today and was told that I have to return the pants in store to receive the price difference. We're in the middle of a pandemic. Get it together Sport Chek. Terrible!

Austin is the best, I always get helps buying ski equipment! And they do have free installation too!

My advice is go anywhere else, they followed me around like I was going to steal even though I got several bags of bought goods it was supper annoying and I will never shop at sport check again

Another horrible service experience. After hunting down a sales person and asking for a shoe in a size, the guy scans it, says “yep” and stares at me…..Can you go get it?You think he stayed to assist lacing it up and asking how it fit?NOPE

The manager Briana at the bike service shop was beyond incredible. She fully solved what I thought was an impossible fix and I cannot thank her enough. Would give 6 stars if possible

Orwa was a fantastic help to me today I would recommend that store to anyone purely off of him and his skills. Thank you!

They followed me like I was gonna steal ?Ironic someone stole and I was the only customer that was willing to say something to the thief ??I'll go to footlocker from now on !!
