Very nice experience! Got a bob cut from Alexcia, she was super nice and thorough. She’s a junior stylist but her work was perfect! Will definitely be back again :))

This is a very nice place, everybody is welcoming! The first time I came in (I get appointments with Meag) I came in with damaged, ugly yellow hair and was pretty embarassed. I was hyped up by everybody, and came out with a beautiful balayage. I do not go anywhere else since i found Meag. She is a sweetheart and a very talented hair stylist. I am always satisfied!

I've been going to Au Barbershop for a couple of years and I've always been satisfied with the service. Meag is a very reliable hairdresser, she's always professional and gave me realistic expectations when I switched from dark green hair to a more natural look with a colored peekaboo. She's the absolute sweetest and I love getting pampered at the salon, it's a very inclusive and safe space.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! As someone who has always been super particular about my hair, I leave with a smile every time! Meagan is so attentive and always listens to what is being asked for; whether it be hair colouring and/or styling while also giving the best advice. She is also super knowledgeable in her product recommendations and has saved my, once upon a time, dry/dehydrated hair lol. She is truly phenomenal and skilled. As for Tony, thank you for always giving the best cuts and blow drys!

I really love this salon! Meag is my stylist and always does an amazing job at making sure you’re comfortable during your appointment and she always gets it better than I can ever imagine! She has a great eye for colour and I will always trust her with my hair! Cannot recommend her enough!

I'm on vacation in Montreal and happened upon this salon. I've been wanting to get my bangs cut for a while and because the salon looked so nice I made an appointment online. My appointment with Esther was great: she is very nice, implemented my wishes perfectly and we had an interesting conversation. Thank you for one of my highlights on vacation!

Amazing haircut and great customer care! Ask for Esther if you go. She's such a lovely person and very attentive to her customers. She's very gentle and has a ton of experience cutting both men's and women's hair. I always leave feeling like I've had my daily dose of wellness!

I had a wonderful experience with Lydia - I got a haircut for extra long hair and it was just what I was looking for. I provided Lydia some reference photos and a general gist of what I was looking for and trusted her with the rest and she did amazing! I got a mid length haircut with lots of layers, face framing pieces and curtain bangs. I got a lot of volume as well and we cut off the dead ends. It was a really pleasant experience with great conversation and lots of care for your hair. Will definitely be going back for all my future hair cuts

Since arriving in Montreal, I have exclusively gone to Meag’s and I’ve never been disappointed! She’s incredibly talented and kind, will ask if you want a silent appointment or happily chitchat with you if not, and most importantly you’ll always leave with exactly what you’ve asked for, something I wasn’t used to, but she never fails! I’ve recommended her to all my friends, and they’re equally pleased! ☺️
