Grand Honour Restaurant
Reopen, grad that no increase, good service, nice dim sum, not much competition at Vancouver West. This time only the noodle didn't cook enough and lack of tasty.

Grand Honour Restaurant
This is the Chinese seafood restaurant that our family go to once a year. it’s become our family tradition. We have been there many times. Food is still very good. Staff there are very nice and polite. I like their little appetizer pickles and their XO sauce which you can’t get from anywhere else. The place is being there for many years. Even though the restaurant is clean, I would like to suggest that the restaurant may need to be renovated.

Good food, price is expensive but reasonable for what you are getting. The seating is a bit tight, and the place could be cleaner but the staff is friendly. Service is on and off depends who is being attentive. Underground Parking is available, but always full. Make sure to only park at assigned spots. W

Has Grand Honour always been in the basement? I feel like I was there decades ago but maybe I'm confusing it with another place.In any case, it's a bit dark down there and the menu is a bit limited as they don't offer rice rolls anymore.Tripe with XO sauce had food flavour and the chiu chow dumplings weren't bad. Chicken feet had a lot of pieces and fairly tender.Tried the appetizer platter. It was a bit of an odd mix. There was melons, carrots, cucumbers and salmon along with the shredded chicken. The salmon seemed out of place.

We ordered a set dinner for two . The portion of the sharks fin soup is big but not much sharks fin at all . The abalone claimed to be 3 head abalone but comes in smaller than I expected. The veggies tasted good . The dessert soup is not as good .The fried rice is tasteless.The service is only okay.The pigeon taste good .

Parking there is a trap. The signs are so confusing. Get ready to pay $86.5 for parking.The sign says parking for Grand Honour Customer but in fact needs to pay in advance or a $86.5 fine.The attendance would not warn you about the payment requirement but would ticket you immediately after you went inside the restaurant, and Grand Honour restaurant would not do anything to help you.The food was the worst I've experienced. The Crab Meat With Fish Maw Soup had pieces of crab shell in every bite.The Abalone With Seasonal Vegetable, the vegetable was hard as rock, and could not be swallowed.The Fried Black Cod, the fish was overcooked, and the sauce was too salty, needed to drink water after every bite.Good luck to older folks who plan to go there because if it is confusing to younger folks, imagine what would happen to older folks!

Not an upscale Chinese dining place with prices to match. Good for a casual Chinese meal. They tried too hard to put their own signature on some classic dishes. For example, raw salmon strips with the jellyfish salad didn't work well. The chicken with glutinous rice was the best dish out of the whole night. Fish maw soup was good.

Been coming here for years when they were located on the ground level but now they are located underground which I guess is a good this as it is much larger. Dinner here was nice and portion seemed generous as staff here are friendly. Hopefully one day they can revamp the area as it does look a bit dull.

Came here for my dad's birthday last night. We shared seven different dishes between the six of us and it was more than enough food.Eggplant with tofu and scallops - 5/5 STARS: This was our favourite dish of the night. Tons of flavour and sauce. It came in a sizzling pot and the portion was good.Pea shoots - 5/5 STARS: Fresh, light and good portion.Sticky rice stuffed crispy chicken - 3/5 STARS: The dish was really creative and I liked the crispiness of the chicken skin. Unfortunately, the flavour fell flat.Green beans with conch - 3/5 STARS: Loved the sauce on this dish, unfortunately I'm just not a fan of conch!Sweet and sour pork - 4/5 STARS: Loved the crispiness of the pork!Beef ribs with glass noodles - 2/5 STARS: This was my least favourite dish of the night. The beef wasn't as tender as I would've liked and the dish lacked flavour.Appetizer platter - 3/5 STARS: It came with jellyfish, smoked salmon, pulled chicken and assorted veggie sticks. Overall, I thought the dish was only OK. The smoked salmon was something different than what is normally included in these types of appetizer platters.Service was average, took a lot of waving down to get wanted service.

Grand Honour Restaurant
I went to the restaurant with my family on the day it was reopened to support local businesses. The food was great and the quality is still there from a year before. We tried the appetizer, Peking duck, steamed rockfish, and seafood with broccoli. It was delicious, along with the great service.
