Perhaps because Alberta is too far from Quebec and the root stock has been in the mail too long, my trees" tend to be budding by the time I get them (I learned that they now have a cooler to keep the root stock dormant ). Although they have a replacement "guarantee"

I am so very pleased to report that the tree you sent us is doing marvelously well. It has emerged its leaves with gusto. We are very hopeful that it will continue to do well. Thank you so much for your care, and we look forward to getting other trees from you in the future.

This is the second year I've ordered from this nursery and I couldn't be happier. My trees from last year are all doing excellent and this years shipment came quickly and once again all of the trees are in great condition. Will definitely be back for years to come!

Great company with excellent customer service and great products. I bought apple and pear trees, within two weeks they had all their foliage and I got a follow up from the company they asked me how the trees were doing and if I had any problems with it. The trees are doing great even survived the big storm we had last week. Highly recommend this company and their products. Thank you for your service.

I am north of Gros Morne National Park and embarking on an apple and pear orchard. I bought 12 apple and 3 pear whips earlier this year. I planted them in mid- May. All 15 made it through their first summer. Several grew so much that I had to extend the chicken wire protection so moose couldn't eat them. Staff were helpful and friendly, and prices were fair. I will buy more next year. Highly recommended.

Bought pear, plum and apples last year. Deer got to them last year but bounced right back this spring and some are even flowering making us pretty happy of what is to come in the next few years.

Plant listing for Elderberry is unclear. It is listed as both S. nigra and S. canadensis, which are two very different plants. When I emailed to confirm what variety they offered, I was told that they offer S. nigra and told this species is native to Canada. In fact, S. nigra is native to Europe and is not ideal for growing conditions in Canada.Disappointed that staff are not more educated on their plants. I am not able to purchase reliable product from this nursery.

My trees arrived to Ontario on time, with no signs of stress or damage. The 12-18' Butternut trees we easily 18" tall with thick trunks and the most extensive

We bought 17 apple trees, and 3 pear trees, 2 years ago from Hardy Fruit Tree Nursery. They shipped them to us in a box in early spring. All 20 are still alive and doing well. They didn't do much the first year, but this year most of them have doubled in size. I decided to order from this nursery as we have ordered from other ones (ie. one with 'Barn' in the name) with very disappointing results. We are very happy customers. They have a great selection of varietys that are hard to find and we liked that they do not use chemical fertilizers. P.S. Everyone should plant some fruit trees.

We bought trees here a few years ago. A couple didn't make it through winter but such is life in Canada - most of them survived and are growing well. I have e-mailed back and forth multiple times over the years with questions and they have always been helpful and provided useful advice to care for our trees. I'd definitely get more trees from them, if only I had the space!! :)
