I want to leave my comment here and say thank you to all the staffs. Years have been with them, they took care of my two cats, neutralization, vaccine, tests, one of my baby had a serious blood urinary problems and they took care of her with a surgery took place in Dix30 in a timely manner, and financially reasonable; older cat had once not eating for long time, they also took emergency immediately. Vétérinaire Griffintown treats my cats as family member of us and communicate efficiently, receptionist is always passionate and doctors. It hard to say goodbye since we left Montreal to far away, they helped me on profile transferring in 48 hours. I hope I can meet another vet like you guys, hopefully.

This is a business, not a health care provider. As such, there is little empathy for your animal, especially if it interferes with running the machine. After 6 years with them, when it was time to have my pet euthanized, I was told that there were no slots for 3 weeks. Didn’t ask if she was suffering, didn’t have an emergency slot, and told me they would call back if there was cancellation, as if it were for a check up rather than end of life. It’s a clean place, they sell some nice treats, but they will not stretch themselves even a bit for you or your animal. Hard to get in touch with them, hard to get answers, hard to get help. They are not even good at their own business. Look elsewhere while there’s time.

Veterinary Griffintown made me suffer an extreme scare, cost me a fortune, and put my dog’s life at risk. On June 10th I took my 2 year old Dahschund to the Vet because she was showing signs of pregnancy. I had spoken to the secretary and explained when was the last possible date she could have mated. They informed me that since it had passed 42 days the best/cost effective way to tell that she was pregnant was by conducting a physical exam & x-rays. On that day, my dog went to get an x-ray and the vet comes back saying she is not pregnant. However, the signs were clearly there. She had enlarged breasts, gained weight, exhausted etc. The Vet barely did a physical exam and didn’t show any signs of concern. 

2 weeks later my dog’s water breaks and gives birth at night on our bed. As we didn’t know she was pregnant, we were not prepared. Since we were unsure how many puppies she was going to have we had to run to the emergency hospital the day after. Yet again another vet fee.Veterinary Griffintown showed no signs of concern, they were extremely unresponsive and when we informed them of what had happened no signs of empathy were shown.Do not take your pets to vet Griffintown, they only care about making money & they don’t care about your animals.

This is a place that I truly believe cares about your pets. The staff are friendly, helpful and I feel safe bringing my pet here.Thank you for your patience, care and gentleness in Zarzar's last moments. ♥️

I am two chihuahuas mother. They are sassy and aggressive. However, the vets and staffs have been very patients with my kids. And one of my biter chihuahua even fall in love with these ladies whom have been nice to him. He also has a nickname within this circle” lover boy.” Here is the point, everytime when I have issue with them, the staffs always been helpful, accessible and patiently to find solution for my sick kid. And I would like to highlight a staff, her name is Maude, she is an angel align with the vets in there. She seems very knowledgeable about the incident of what happened to my lover boy, etc. Explained to me and provided me the super clientele service this morning. She is an angel for me. Again, the other staffs are super nice as well. I just not good remember the names. Love the owner( the vet), and the other vet too! They always caring and sharing the pet care knowledge with us.I would give a five ⭐️!

Called to make my first appointment, not only do they require you to give a $50 deposit but are asking for the full credit card information over the phone including verification code and address, putting you at risk. Their response everyone does it". I offered to pay when I'm there but they refused. Not a good start. I shouldn't need to put my financial security in the hands of a vet assistant to get my puppy vaccinated. Also the lack of willingness to work with patients is a bad sign

We have been going there for almost one year now since we got our puppy. The customer service and the care received are not acceptable considering the fact that you pay for all services provided and it is in fact not a public system. Many times they have an attitude when answering the phone or questions. We tried to remain there because it is a clean clinic close to our home, but we will not return for veterinary care. Vet Dix 30 (Brossard) was wonderful for our dog’s neutering, both in the customer service received, care, and prompt communication with us. For Vet Griffintown, choose another vet, it will be worth it in the long run.I am providing a detailed explanation of the context for the instances where the service was subpar. I apologize for the length of the review.1) They forgot to call us for 2 puppy vermifuge doses and they forgot to put us on their email list for the standard vermifuge doses (April-December). When I asked how this happened, the technician kindly apologized and said that the vet had put it in her notes to call us but she must have forgotten. When the vet came, she told me: “On va vous les donner les prochaines doses alors faites juste continuer”. There was no apology.2) Because of COVID we had to drop off our dog for appointments. Now that we have gone to other vets, we enjoy and are thankful for other vets who allow us in the room during the appointment. It's our first dog and a puppy and it makes such a difference.3) When we pick up our dog after appointments, it is never clear if we can talk to the vet afterwards and no info is provided. When we did talk to her, it was in the middle of the clinic near the entrance (no confidentiality, no sense they are paying attention). One time my partner brought our dog back to the car directly. We realized we were missing a lot of info, he went back in with the dog and asked for the vet. When he pointed politely that he wasn't sure if he could talk to her because the tech hadn’t mentioned we could talk to her, she said: Ben

Has been our vet clinic for 5 years from day one when we got our puppy to his last day last week. I usually have excellent service, my Rocky was picky but hated going there due to his anxiety but they always found a solution to his problems with the correct meds and treatments. I wanted to thank the staff for their hard work. His last day was so emotional but the staff took great care of us and our baby.

I was skeptical going in here based on the reviews, but I had the exact opposite experience! Went in for a quick nail trim, my dogs dewclaws were overgrown. Extremely friendly staff, they took their time with my pet and were professional.
