I received my water bill and realized there was no way I'd used that amount of water. So, I had a leak, somewhere. I found a little bit of water in the utility room but not enough to account for it. They sent Randy out. He checked everything, all the toilets, taps etc. He suspected the one toilet so he set it up in such a way that he could confirm that it was the toilet (It was). He confirmed issues with the humidifier. He also did a check looking for obvious water damage signs and there were none (thank heavens). Because the humidifier and water leaking from it was near the furnace, he also checked the furnace to make sure that water hadn't gotten into it (It hadn't). I also had asked in their contact form if they'd be able to check the faucet on the main floor, that thing hadn't worked properly since the day the house was built so he checked that as well. He also found a bit of an oddity in water pressure on the main floor and realized that it was just the valve partially closed. It might have been knocked by accident sometime so he just corrected that. By the end of the morning, he'd replaced parts in the humidifier and the toilet and confirmed the toilet was back to working just fine. The leak was just into the drains so I had no unseen issues anywhere...and here's where you can tell that you got someone with integrity. He checked the faucet on the main floor and figured out it was just the aerator. He replaced just the aerator. He could have told me the entire faucet needed replacing and I would never have known the difference. If this is indicative of the quality you get with these guys, I'm keeping these guys as my go-to plumbers. Sure, they have a call out fee to my area, but with this quality of service I don't mind.

We were having issues with our furnace (that had been done with the previous homeowner prior to our purchase) and a friend recommended we contact Kevin. He came to check it out quickly and while he ultimately recommended we prepare ourselves to replace it in the near future, he did what he needed to so that we had a functioning furnace for the time being. Kevin was very professional and easy-going and felt like somebody we could trust without hesitation. We will definitely be calling Butler Plumbing for any future work we need done!

I would highly recommend Butler plumbing. They were very helpful on the phone and fit me in the next day. The plumber that came was early, fast, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. When it was determined that the kitchen link was due to the old faulty faucet he said I could order a new hose or I could just get a new faucet which was much more economical. He recommended I rent Canadian Tire to get a new one and he put the new one in in just 5 minutes. He did that, took out the old faucet and replaced the fill valve on my toilet tank in an hour.

Calling a Repair Company is never something I hope to need to do. Thankfully, when I did, I called Butler. THANK YOU Bryce!!! To say these guys know boiler repairs well, is an understatement. The experience and knowledge they had in assessing my 15 year old unit, put my mind fully at ease. Needing to replace my boiler and making a large “surprise” investment in my home was not expected. I, as most don’t have money under my mattress I can pull out and spend at will. Butler was recommended by the company who installed a flush assist toilet in my mom’s condo in 2010. They were terrific to deal with over the phone and I was able to get an appointment the very next day! Prices were quoted upfront regarding the call out & labour.Mark the plumber had to leave to get the ‘part’ we needed back at the shop. When he returned I commented that it appeared we were replacing the guts of the toilet and asked how much , he responded with a shrug and said $150, maybe $200. When I viewed the invoice that was sent to my email a couple hours later, I was shocked to learn the part was invoiced at $425! I replied that I was horrified at the price and that I could’ve bought an entionew toilet for that and that I should’ve been advised of the actual price of the replacement before installation.Fortunately their office agreed and upon confirmation of our conversation with Mark, they reduced my bill to charge me only $200 for the part. I was very impressed by their quick & positive response and professionalism.I will recommend them in a heartbeat.

On December 23, my boiler was not functioning at capacity. I was worried I would not have a heated home for Christmas. I called Butler and they did some troubleshooting over the phone, then let me speak directly with a technician. Since there were no obvious issues, they did need to send a technician out. Someone was at my house in an hour, found and resolved the issue and I had a warm Christmas! I was very impressed, and the price was reasonable.

Great Guys! I had an issue with my Main water valve and when I called them they let me know exactly what I had to do to prep for my appointment. Once they arrived, everything was quick, professional and not too expensive! Highly recommended, I'll definitely call back if I need more plumbing work done!!
