We had excellent service from Burke Mountain Plumbing and Heating Port Moody. Richard made himself available much sooner than we originally expected, which was a great relief. He completed the job professionally and quickly, and provided some good advice prior to leaving.

Prompt and responsive service. Fixed a complicated leak on the same day I called. Worked late until job was completed. We needed some follow-up work and Richard came right over and fixed the problem. Very knowledgeable.

Professional! I required plumbing services a few years ago , I looked up someone local and met Richard , his skill , knowledge and work ethic left such a positive experience that I did some searching to find him again . Glad I did ! Richard is prompt and highly skilled and got the job done quickly! Highly Recommend!

I called this company because of the other great reviews, but had such a bad experience. There were complications installing my new kitchen faucet (same model I'd installed in my previous home with no issues), as pieces from and old seal broke off and lodged in the new faucet. He broke a piece of the faucet trying to remove the debris, and then didn't try to clear any additional debris before reinstalling my old faucet, which also got plugged and now barely works. And then told me I should throw away my brand new $375 faucet in case there are any other pieces of debris. During the experience, he critiqued why I bought a new faucet and where I got the new one, and seemed quite intent on shifting the blame or complaining about possibly dirty pipes in the building rather than working to solve the issue. So now I'm worse off than when I called him, will likely have a week+ without a functioning kitchen faucet and am out hundreds of dollars extra. Also, in switching out cables to the washer/dryer, he wanted my help to move the unit in and out of its location also nearly slammed my hand into a door. The whole experience was chaotic and awful. Will not be calling these people again.

On a Friday, our furnace broke down and Richard came the same day to identify the problem. It needed a new motor and he made a big effort to find one and installed it on Monday. I am so glad we have heat in the house again as it is cold. I am satisfied with the service and would contact them again in the future.

Discovered on a Saturday that we had a leaking water heater. Called and he showed up 20 minutes later. He was courteous and professional, and he fixed the problem. Would definitely use his services again!

I have used this company three times now in the last few months to replace old pipes and water lines, as well as to install a sink and dishwasher. Richard was very responsive all three times - he arrived at my place same day and usually around an hour later. He also completed each task perfectly and quickly. He's my go to guy for all plumbing and mechanical needs.

Richard is reliable, knowledgeable, and does quality work. He has fixed three separate problems in our house (on three separate calls), and has done an excellent job each time. We will call him for all our future plumbing needs.

I had a faulty valve that I had butchered replacing, I called Richard and he showed up within an hour and had the job done in under 20 minutes. Quick to arrive, quick to solve the problem and incredibly fair in his pricing, I can't recommend him enough!
