A GREAT place for group!! So fun, and the food was beyond delicious. The date beef was beyond delish. A lot of food, so go very hungry. It’s Bring Your Own Wine which we also loved. Very cosy, amazing experience.

We ordered take out on our first night staying across the street. Food and service is good. We also bought 2 hibiscus drinks and the restaurant gave as an additional on the house. I agree with another review that the meat quantity is very limited, however the service makes up the difference.

The whole dining experience was fabulous! We arrived much earlier than our reservation but the chef and server were very accommodating and welcoming. The hummus, red lentil soup, and main dish were all very delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend for a date night!

What an authentic spot! They are so welcoming, the ambiance is great and the food was simply delicious. Couscous plate with all 3 options served and yummy soup as an appetizer. The flavours are soft and punched at the same time.Gluten free couscous available as an option is a HUGE plus in my book!Definitely returning here.

Pretty couscous restaurant. Take off your shoes and sit down. Dinner plates with hummus are really tasty. The meats are well cooked and soft. There were a few people who brought their own wine, but I enjoyed their hibiscus tea and mint tea.

I was so excited to try a new cuisine, it was my family gathering, so I picked this restaurant and I wish I DID NOT.We walked into the restaurant, I must say the man who welcomed us when we arrived and guided us to our table was polite but we haven’t seen him throughout the meal (if I call it a meal ),One word I have to say SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU!28$ per head for some inedible food!! NO MENUS!!Hibiscus drink served in a filthy plastic Jug, the soup was OK we had to go ourselves and ask for the bread. We were supposed to get humus as a starter, but we haven't received it.No one came to check on us or clear our table (after finishing our soups).Until now I don’t mind really but what was going to follow has made me angry and embarrassed in front of my whole family. When the waiter brought our food, we were all shocked!!!! We were 6 of us.One Small round plate with 3 different tiring-looking meatballs, beans and a few olives on top of some sour couscous! No classNo garnishIt was like last night's leftovers put back on a plate, we all had a spoon full of that food and we all stopped because it was just HORRIBLE, and it wasn’t up to the stander of any normal restaurant. We had to leave immediately because one member of my family wasn’t feeling well after trying so-called meatballs (we were not told that we going to have meatballs instead we were told pieces of beef, also the meatballs were so hard and black). We had to walk to the reception to pay, It is there that I saw the state of the kitchen, filthy and horrible, also saw no chef but the waiter who was actually preparing the food ( the famous couscous plate ).the food was far away to be fresh, it's a crime to call it food.Zero hygiene!I had to tell the waiter about our experience, and we left the food as they brought it.we paid and left. Thanks for ruining our night.

Both food and service were excellent! Pre-fixe menu and the lentil soup was the best I’ve ever had! Plentiful food — more than enough for everyone. The presentation was exquisite. Service was laid back yet generous. The server was happy to give us more of anything we wanted. The Moroccan mint tea at the end was divine. The ambiance evokes being transported to N/West Africa but could use AC. Be sure to sit next to the windows if you can! Overall, great dining experience!

They have a table d'hôte where you have a soup, a couscous (where you chose between vegetarian, chicken, beef or a taster with all of them.) and mint tea. All couscous flavours are delicious but my favourite was the beef one. It's BYOW even though it doesn't say anywhere on the website. The ambiance is really cool, make sure you wear socks without holes because you need to take you shoes off to sit down to eat at the 'tent looking' area.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The owner is super friendly and makes the entire experience worth it. My favorite part is there is the vegan option that includes a delicious lentil soup, hummus, and vegetables on rice that tastes absolutely delicious. Makes me want to stay longer in Montreal.

Beef and dates were very good. Atmosphere was comfortable and novel. We were not rushed by the waiter which was a nice relief. Cool waiter
