Hot Diggity Dogs
We brought our 14 week old goldendoodle puppy in for classes and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. Donna is an excellent trainer. She is patient, kind and very knowledgeable. Our dog gets compliments on his behaviour and I sing Donna's praises every time someone asks about puppy training. Thank you so much for everything Donna!

Donna is the best. We attended puppy training classes in 2011 with our Samoyed Taiga. Samoyeds are known to have a mind of their own and we really appreciated her positive training methods and had fun while learning.Taiga is will be 12 years old in a few months and we still have fond memories of those classes and are grateful for how the training has helped us over the years. We have kept in touch with Donna since that time and highly recommend her to anyone looking for positive training!

We had a wonderful experience with Donna. We brought our 4-month-old Labrador to the puppy class to work on socialization and were so impressed with the results. Donna’s classes are full of useful information and practical tips that we use every day with our puppy. Our dog absolutely LOVED her. Would highly recommend this course!

I've used Donna's group training services for three different dogs over my life. Two were puppies and one was a spirited teenage lab mix lolHer classes are fun and informative. She gives you the feeling of one on one training in a group setting. I always felt like my questions were answered and that I had a full understanding of the lesson.Plus her love for dogs is clear and her approach to training leads to a happy dog.My first experience was when I was 9 or 10 years old and my family got their first dog. I attended the classes and Donna made sure to actively include me in the lessons which inspired me to participate in the training / care of our family dog.Thank you Donna for the wonderful services over the years. We miss you on the mainland!

I have to say THANK YOU to Donna at Hot Diggity Dogs! She is AMAZING - really she is a trainer who cares about quality. I called Donna from this ad the day we were told there was a puppy available to us (we were not expecting one for two months, so we were not prepared). She spent over one hour on the phone with me so that I was confident we could move forward with our new family addition that day!. Since then we have been with Donna at her puppy training group and are signed up for her obedience class next. Everyone who is there is so happy with her training methods and style - and our puppy is learning so much. Donna answers so many questions and gives lots of reading material to back up each class lesson (her reading material is an excellent tool too - far better than what I had researched prior). Sign up fast though, her classes do fill up.

Our puppy has done almost every one of Donna’s group classes and has learnt so much (as have we!). Donna is so knowledgeable and understands dog behaviour extremely well - she’s perceptive, patient, and caring. You can tell how much she loves them. She’s also been available over the phone or email when we’ve needed advice. I can’t recommend her enough as a trainer!

Donna is amazing! She builds relationships with the pup and the parent. I never felt shamed, talked down to or pressured. Donna really listened to what I thought would work when addressing window barking in my puppy. We had her at home for individual training and support early on when I was overwhelmed with it all. We also attended her puppy classes and they were excellent! Donna is very calm, kind, and skilled. Highly recommend. Her rates are also very reasonable.

I can’t recommend Donna enough.I brought my puppy in for puppy classes and we’ve moved on to obedience classes. My pup got sick at one point and Donna reached out to slot us into her next classes.She is incredibly accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable. She has incredible patience, remarkable timing, and is always there to answer the questions of an anxious new dog owner.My puppy has been fearful from the get go and she has taught me about reading his body language and respecting his boundaries. She’s helped offer advice when my dog began demonstrating reactivity. Having a trainer reassure you and make you think that you can overcome the hurdles a difficult dog can throw at you is immeasurable. I’m very grateful and fortunate to have a trainer like Donna to share her skills and knowledge. She leads with the dogs best interest, non judgement, and positive reinforcement.Thank you Donna!

Donna is a wonderful dog trainer focused on positive-based training. I've done her basic classes as well as one-on-one work over 3 years now, and she has helped me to understand how to communicate with my dogs. She is highly knowledgeable and offers clear steps to get you where you (and your dog!) want to go. Her classes and her approach is fun. Highly recommended.
