Phoned to get a quote to cut some 3/4 thick marble into two 18"x18" tiles - quote was $600!Completely unrealistic pricing - Im going to go buy a tile saw for a couple of hundred from Home Depot and save $400

Our new kitchen countertop from North Shore Stone Works is INCREDIBLE. It literally transforms our experience of our kitchen. WARNING - if you don't appreciate quality, careful (I mean very careful) measuring and installation, you should shop for something else. Arthur, leading his team, is a consummate professional and very very fussy about getting it right. We are fussy as well but really appreciated Arthur making a number of suggestions to our original plan and they all were great. Rob as the lead installer with his assistant, Carlos, are as fussy as Arthur is (some might take that as a negative, but your opportunity cost for not getting it right the first time converts fussy" into an A+ rating).This is the second time we have done business with NSSW - the first was our main bathroom countertop and because we were so happy with that job

Arthur and his team provide 5 Star Products and Service. We had a large kitchen island for which we needed a countertop. It was right at the limit of the sizes produced by the Engineered Stone manufacturers. Arthur did the research to make sure that what he ordered from the manufacturer was going to work - he found that because of manufacturing tolerances one product could not be guaranteed to be large enough, so he kept at it till he found a product that would work. Service has been excellent. In another case, one small Caesar Stone countertop had an imperfection caused in the production process (at the Engineered Stone manufacturer). North Shore Stone replaced it without a question. We were very happy. I have subsequently worked with them on a small outside project and am very happy they applied the same level of service on this very small project. I highly recommend this company!

So North Shore Stone Works offers quality products in a timely fashion. We were very happy with their kitchen counters, but the communication of delivery should improve, even though it arrived on time. The installation guys are real professionals and did the job smoothly.
