Prompt, personal, and cash back incentive. Much better experience than through a bank. Will renew next time with Butler without hesitation.

I worked with Butler Mortgage on my home purchase in June of 2022. I was able to get a great rate, and when I shared it with other mortgage brokers on RedFlagDeals they told me that they couldn't bear the rate. I was also able to complete the entire mortgage process 100% online and by-phone, which was super convenient!

My honest opinion of this company is that they do an excellent job of negotiating a good rate. I shopped 20 different companies and they couldn't compete with the rate. They lowered the rate at closing and negotiated rates not advertised.Be careful as you get items in writing that if they do negotiate a lower rate with the mortgage company, that the incentives directly with Butler may disappear and may not be explained well. They are also very very busy, so if after you have secured a mortgage, if you still have questions, they may not answer and it can be quite a chore to get in contact with them.Overall, what should have been a very positive experience turned in to less than average because of the customer service aspect and my rating reflects that.EDIT: bumping up a star, as after posting a review, I got a personalized phone call from someone in customer experience who listened to my concerns and genuinely wanted to make it better. I think this is a good service for the company and a real reason why their ratings are so high on Google.
