John was such a great salesman to deal with. He was very enthusiastic to find a good option for me. He worked within a budget and offered a few options (new vs used) for our townhouse. He offered it to be installed on the very same night which was amazing. We had a central vacuum installed in a few hours after purchase and ensured we knew how to operate, maintain, and swap bags for a long life of the vacuum. I had shopped around online and at other stores for quite a while before and I can say that MJM Vacuums is the best seller in Ottawa area

Have a 20 year old Kenmore vacuum (Sears) that had 2 issues - clip to attach the hose to the canister was broken, and the vacuum was cycling on-off while running. John was able to replace the clip no problem, then did some diagnostics on the head end of the hose to discover a loose wire. He fixed that as well and now my vacuum runs like before. Cost was very reasonable as well. Oh, and he was also able to create an adapter" of sorts for another newer Kenmore vacuum I have so that I can attach a bigger

I recently purchased two vacuum cleaners from MJM Vacuums store, and I am thrilled with the service and product quality. He provided outstanding assistance, guiding me to choose the right vacuum cleaners for my needs. I also had a repair done on my existing vacuum and he did a fantastic job. The repair was done promptly and my vacuum is now working perfectly although it was an old vacuum( he changed the parts for me).Highly recommended. Had a wonderful experience buying a vacuum for my fiancé's grandmother.John was there to help and he even stayed open slightly later to serve us. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.He made us feel welcome and was very friendly.We were able to pick out a great vacuum that met her grandmother's needs at a good price and with a great warranty to boot.Places like this are amazing and help to reduce waste by fixing perfectly good vacuums that would otherwise be sent to the dump, and also by helping to save the consumer money by maintaining their equipment and making sure they don't have to be an entirely new piece of equipment.Will definitely be back with any repairs and will recommend it to anyone I know locally.

John @ MJM vacuums just saved me so much money and what an angel and an honest Man! Very knowledgeable, patient and kind!My Central Vac just stopped working suddenly and no one wanted to help me unless I brought it in to their shop.Not only did John come out to see me after a long day at his store/shop, he went back & forth from the garage trying to troubleshoot the problem with my system. It turns out that it was just a blockage in the walls somewhere, not the motor like every other place I called told me it was. Basically they would have never been able to help me other than to replace the motor on the unit and I’d still have the same problem! John came out to my home and solved the problem within 20min! Looking for a vacuum or repairing one? Look no further than MJM (John). I took my old one in for repair and he took the time to explain to me the issue and was very honest about my options including purchasing a used one which I ended up buying and has been great. Was even willing to have me take it home to try it out. Honest, knowledgeable and pleasant. Definitely recommend.
