West Humber Parkland

A wonderful place for a long walk, a stroll in the park and to relax. It's a nature reserve in the middle of busy streets. The sound of flowing water and the lush greens are a such a sight. Bicyclist's dream!

Great trail by the river and a pond on foot or by bike its a nice hike. Visit the Mariam Shrine of Gratitude situated above this part of the Humber trail near Sheppard and Weston road. Enjoy the fall colors view from up high here.

As a long time resident I visit the park every day and i love taking long walks great place for families to enjoy. However I must point out (of course without pointing fingers I believe you know Who You Are ) that we all could do much better without some people routinely dumping plastic bags full of paraphernalia and other knick-knacks by the side of the river and leave them there until the next storm Carrie's everything down street .if I could make a suggestion GO MAKE THIS TYPE OF ALTARS in your own backyard.

We always have a great time here. A beautiful walk by the river, the trail is great with little spots with benches. One of our favourite trails to do.

Great experience. We went to pray for an ill friend and our love ones. A Beautiful and peaceful place. We will be going back soon, with even more of us going. The person that maintains the grounds told me of some Miracles that happened too sick individuals that have gone there. I told my parents about this Shrine and to my surprise they also have been there. They have a statue of Jesus, Mother Mary and the Stations of the Cross. In the past a Brazilian priest I believe lost his eye because a branch hit him in the eye and he prayed to Mother Mary for him to regain his eyesight and his prayers were answered. Where it happened is where the statue of Mary is (from my understanding).

Such a beautiful trail to walk. Just st be careful as we did see unauthorised motor vehicles driving on the path. We were walking with our toddler and had to put him back in the stroller. Colours are changing on the trees, so stunning!

I visited here mid March, which I would say is not the best time. Not so much because of the cold, but you see much of the place dry and brown, not green!! There were a lot of ducks in the pond and all along the river banks. A lot of birds could be spotted even towards the afternoon. But that was pretty much it, I didn't find any animals here.

Always in this trail with my dog and rest of family and there is always new things for us to discover. Now we found a hidden but not so hidden way to the river where we can actually swim. Once you're inside the trail, it doesn't feel like you're in the city. Too many perfect spots to relax.

Very nice walking trail. Good for biking too as it is paved. Easy to keep physical distancing. Free parking.
