Provenance Wine Bar and Commissary
My favourite spot in Orillia to chill with friends. Don't bring too many friends though cause it's pretty cozy. I've always had a good experience here and the chat and vino are unbeatable. I don't think there is a similar experience in town but I hope I don't really it to too much cause I like it as my secret boozy chill spot.

First time here. Went to the Master Class series with my partner and had an absolutely wonderful time. Doug was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about wine. 10/10 experience and will definitely be back. The food was also fantastic. Can't say enough good things about this absolute gem of a business.

One of our favourite spots. Doug and team are exceptional. My wife and I enjoy sitting at the bar. We always end up meeting other great patrons. Cozy and comfy. The wine list is amazing as is the food

My expectations for Provenance were hugely exceeded! This place is seriously amazing.The place itself was so classy and beautifully decorated. But also inviting, like you're in on the secret.The owner was beyond knowledgeable on the history of more wines and wineries that I can even fathom. He was passionate about the wines and about sharing that with people. That is just so cool, because it feels like you're being invited to share and learn instead of feeling out of place because you aren't already familiar with the different wines from the different regions of France.The wine tasting was a pretty unforgettable experience - wine from near an active volcano? Wow!! That's fascinating and I would have never known!Amazing place. Great experience. Learned a lot. Cannot say enough about how worth it is to visit.

Such a gem in downtown Orillia makes me forget I moved out of the GTA with its modern feel, great ambiance of playlist music, the food and snacks are thoughtfully curated to pair with the progressive wine menu. Incredible selections and recommendations provided by the staff who make me feel like a regular even if I haven't visited as often as i should!

Staff were very knowlegeable and friendly. The customer service was far beyond my expectations and the atmosphere was so relaxed but had a classy element to it at the same time. A true little gem.

Had a fantastic experience here ! Honestly the whole staff is amazing. They exceeded our expectations for a private function with people from out of town and we couldn’t be happier. People still ask about it !
