I purchased six counter barstools from Wayfair over a year ago. Unfortunately, one of the chairs became damaged, and the hydraulic system was no longer functioning properly. Despite numerous attempts to contact Wayfair's customer service team, they refused to offer any assistance or resolution to the issue. I was left with a dysfunctional chair and no support from Wayfair's customer service team.As a loyal customer of Wayfair, I expected the company to provide after-sales support and assistance when necessary. However, the lack of support from their customer service team left me disappointed and frustrated. I subsequently contacted the vendor directly as requested by Wayfair and requested assistance to resolve the issue.This experience highlights the importance of customer service in online retail. Companies must prioritize customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, especially for large purchases like furniture. The lack of support and assistance from Wayfair's customer service team left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. It also emphasizes the importance of investing in customer service and support systems to ensure that customers receive prompt and effective solutions to their issues.

It's very difficult to get tracking information from this company. They say they'll email it to you but they never do. When you call in to try and get it, you'll get passed around to many different agents without actually getting the tracking. Also, their website says estimated delivery dates, but they're not correct ever. This is extremely frustrating.

I have been waiting for my money back for more than three months. Not only do they put something they don't have for sale and cancel the order, but I also have to beg them to be honest and give me my money back. Don't be thieves. give me my money back!!!

Ordered a tv stand for $285.00 which was supposed to be shipped in 2 days . They initially delayed the order by 4 days and then cancelled the order because they relisted the item at $939.00. a new kind of bait and switch ... 0 stars Wayfair

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY.This will sell you upscale furniture that is actually CANCEROUS. I am NOT exaggerating. Look at my photo, this was on a 300$ coffee tablePLUS they charge me to return their CANCEROUS product. Unbelievable. Avoid at all cost unless you don’t care about cancerous items in your home!!

Horrible Customer Service. Returning is lame and is a rip off. On Amazon, you can free shipping as well as free return shipping if bought from Amazon (not third parties). Here in Wayfair, its free shipping to your house, but they charge you for return shipping back to Wayfair.Was told by one representative that they will gladly price adjust for an item which went on further sale within days after my purchase. Few days went by, only to be told by another representative that they don't do price adjustment. I was unable to find any information of price adjustment on their website. Upon speaking to a manager, apparently price match to them is price adjustment?????? I thought price match is bringing in a flyer from a competitor and have them match their price. Price adjustment is asking to adjust price to their current sale price on their own website. Apparently I need to study the dictionary by Wayfair. Ridiculous!!!The price difference was $150 and I will get ding $20.99 for return shipping so I can purchase the exact same item for the lower advertised price. According to the manager, she is more than willing to help me out by offering me $75 store credit instead of (I suggested $150 - $20.99) $129.01. No, I get a penalty for a mistake of their own employee instead. Or I can return the item, and be charged $20.99 shipping, and re-order the exact same item and wait another 2 weeks for delivery. Oh and after arguing for 30 mins, she offered a 10% coupon to use on our next purchase.What kind of business model is this???? Super inefficient and resource wasting procedures. Wayfair better up their game or they are gonna lose a lot of customers.Buyers Beware!!!

Wayfair's overly harsh/expensive return policies, absence of a price match policy (even to their own price drops immediately after purchase) make it impossible to continue to shop there. From what I can tell they are an oversized drop ship retailer. Nothing I've ordered has come directly from Wayfair.No more.

Cheep customer support,don’t order anything from here,quality was garbage and they charged me for shipping fee when I told them its garbage and looks different! While other websites like amazon have much better customer support!I will never buy from them again

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I bought an adjustable bed and it never arrived. So I passed the same order again and this time it arrived with a box completely destroyed and soaked in water. The bed is damaged with bent metal part and ripped fabric. Wayfair customer service is a nightmare, they just want to waste your time hoping you give up. First I contacted support through the chat, I sent pictures of the damaged box, then they wanted to charge me $100 for return shipping. No way! Their own policy says FREE RETURNS for damaged items. So I sent more pictures showing the damages inside the box. Oh now they want me to call a phone number instead of just giving me a shipping label to return the item. So I called the phone number, got put on hold a long time, only to be told that they can't do nothing and I have to contact email support which I already did. Now I am stuck with a damaged adjustable bed that was soaked in dirty water. I wish I could add the pictures to this review.WAYFAIR DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS SITUATION. I was contacted by the company after my BBB review and it was a huge waste of time. After sending pictures they did nothing to help me. Wayfair policy clearly states 30-DAYS RETURN POLICY and says that they will replace or refund damaged items. IT'S A HUGE SCAM, WAYFAIR IS LYING. They kept telling me I have to deal with the manufacturer, which is not only illegal since online retailers are obligated by law to provide refunds on damaged items, but this is also AGAINST WAYFAIR'S OWN POLICY. To sum it up simple, Wayfair is scamming customers and refuse to honor it's own policy. Stay away from this company, you will lose your money and they will do nothing to help you. Oh and the manufacturer NEVER contacted me to replace my damaged item. WAYFAIR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS.

We specifically asked Wayfair to let us know once the Canada warehouse receives our orders so they hold on to the orders for 2 weeks and not send the items before we move to the new house. They never called us and gave the orders to FedEx and now they keep sending the items to the house we’re supposed to move in. The landlord and current tenants are frustrated. We call FedEx and they tell us the tracking number we have doesn’t exist on their system, yet they keep sending the items at different days. This is very unprofessional.Moral of the story: don’t place your order with them for a scheduled delivery even if they say “We will hold on to the items and call you to setup delivery date.”
