Mumbai Dakar Restaurant
The place was difficult to find, as it was a ghost kitchen so the name on Skip the Dishes and the name on the door were different. The food was very disappointing as this was meant to be Jollof Rice which should be reddish in color and lamb. The rice was edible and so was the lamb, but they seemed over cooked so not a total waste, was so glad this was the 51% off item as I wouldn't pay a $1 more. Wasn't adventurous enough to try the salad.

Worst Buffet ever. Dessert was spoilt one. I doubt how this restaurant is surviving. Soup was so sick. Not at all worth to give it a thought as well forget about trying.

I've never eaten here, so this review is not about the food. It's about that abhorrent nature in which Solo treats his staff. Primarily not paying them and refusing to give an ROE, which I believe is against the law. I will never support an establishment that abuses its staff

Ate there for the 4th time this past week.Food is still amazing but restaurant is looking a bit rough now as they are struggling to keep the lights on post covid.The food is made fresh from scratch so it may take a while to be ready, so if you are the impatient type..order ahead for a great experience..its definitely worth the wait.Give them a try and help local small businesses stay open.

Fantastic food and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. But I have order takeaway, food was tasty and Fresh. Service was fast, Prices are reasonable. Love Indian and African food. My recommended dishes !!

Interior and exterior of this establishment is looking rough but the food was very good. There was a two sided menu, with African dishes on one side and Indian fare on the other. We had butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and coconut rice. Flavors were outstanding. I will return to try the African side next time.

I have lived in this area for several years passed this place and was not interested in trying the buffet. I have recently been on a hunt for the best Jollof rice. Currently, Mumbai has my heart. The Jollof was so tasty , delicious, plus the meat was on the side. The meat was tender, tasty and delicious.The portion was well worth the $22.00 for take out. They must be doing something right they are still open afterthe 2 year madness, pandemic. All the best to you chef I will be recommending your restaurant.

Amazing tasty food!Like many restaurants, Covid 19 restrictions have really affected the staffing, but the owners are so kind, resilient, hard-working and make delicious food! I highly recommend supporting this restaurant - it is well worth it!

Came in to order for a pickup order. Restaurant had no customers, waited 15 minutes before someone came out the back and helped. Food was supposed to be done in 35 mins, got to the restaurant in 40mins and waited an additional 30 mins for them to finish the food !!! … get home and the food had no taste .. they actually used to be good , I don’t know what happenedThe restaurant was really dirty too with a broken window and glass on the ground

Fantastic food! We ordered from here for the first time tonight. We live close by and I’ve been meaning to try them out, so thought we’d order in tonight and support a local restaurant.Everything was incredibly tasty. We ordered butter chicken, beef curry, Kadai Paneer, coconut rice, saffron rice and naan. We definitely ordered too much rice, so don’t let the price of the rice fool you in thinking it’s a small serving. (It’s on $4.99 per order)I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.
