The Children's Garden is under construction until spring and from what I saw, the changes are going to be big. Apparently they are going to keep the sandbox which was the main reason for us to visit. Sand toys used to be provided but I'm not sure if that will be the case in the future. The Garden will we wheelchair accessible and for that reason the flower and vegetable beds will we raised higher.You are allowed to take one piece of fruit ir vegetable home with you and since it's a community garden you are encouraged to do a bit of gardening there. The community center offers Playgroups outdoors but there is no bathroom there.

The Children’s Garden
I really wanted to try this place out for a while and finally got out there today. It looks abandoned. The garden beds are dead. There are a few areas that seem like toys but they have piles of broken branches or dead leaves in them. There is a cute community library there. But other than that, we were bored. It is quite small and not private, you are right by the road so it isn't a very nature-esque feel. Maybe it is better in summer but today was a bust for us.
