Golf Town

It was my first visit to Golf Town. The store is laid out well and very friendly staff

I had a club fitting on Jan 02 2023. I was told 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. I called back Feb 01 and was told they were in transit. I called on Feb 21, and got no answer to the call. Later I went to the store to see if they were in, and after quite a bit of time was told the same thing they are in transit". I called again today Mar 02 2023 and spoke to Jordan. He told me they have put a rush delivery on it

Don't do an online order unless you have 30-45 mins to wait at the store to pick it up. You have to go through the pro shop which often has people doing work on their clubs. I asked if another associate could help me and the employee at the pro shop just told me to wait. They then ask you to stop at the front cash to sign off on it, so another wait. Big waste of time!

This place is your go to shop for golfing. They have everything. People that work there are really helpfull and no shortage of employees.

Had good help from Dave who let me try out the two drivers I was interested in along with my own driver for comparison...The dude in the repair shop regripped my grandfather's old ping putter for me and saved the old grip for me so I could keep as a souvenir...Really nice people at the cash...Happy ride home!

I went to the Golf Town in Trainyards twice in the last week. I had never been in a golf town before the first visit. I planned on trying a few clubs and buying a high end driver. Both visits were equally as disappointing. I must say Golf Town is a great place in terms of the products and the ability to test out the clubs. However, unfortunately I can’t say the same about the professionalism and demeanour of the staff. In addition to the poor quality of customer service, the lack of knowledge was truly astounding. I would give zero stars if I could solely based on the sales representatives that I dealt with. I think it goes without saying that I won’t be back at that location. Hopefully the other locations in Ottawa have people working for them that have knowledge of golf, and are polite / respectable to the customers that come in.

I met with Matt" for a driver fitting Sun April 2nd. The experience was fantastic! Matt was exceptionally knowledgeable

Excellent Covid19 protection we felt very safe indeed. The staff was friendly and helpful everyone knew to stay at least 6ft away from us. Many deals throughout the store we left with many items would highly recommend coming here for all your golfing needs

Terrible customer service. Club repair are never on time. Evening staff- have no clue what their doing with addition of having no will to help.

I was there on 9 May 23 to buy a new club, stayed in the club section for about 25 minutes without anyone coming over to help me. I will shop elsewhere. They have a nice selection, though.
