Went for a tire change from my winter tires to the seasonal ones on a Wednesday morning. Dropped off the car first thing in the morning at 9 am. I was told the wait time was 2-3 hours and I said it was fine I would just be heading home and waiting there. After no updates for a few hours, I had to call them at 2pm to ask for an update and got recommended some cleaning work done on the headlamps. I asked them how long it was gonna take and they said not long" (My fault for believing them and not clarifying what "not long actually meant") so I agreed. I went to pick up the car at 4:10pm since I really needed it to go pick up my husband after work and was told it needed "at least" another hour.I mentioned that I dropped off the car at 9am this morning and clearly showed me disbelief that the car was not ready yet and was told "the mechanic was working on the car now and it's not just sitting and waiting" but that it was going to need "at least another hour".Likely never coming to Canadian Tire again to use their auto service.Update: It's almost 6pm and there is still no update at all about the car. Been sitting here since 4:20pm"

All the staff is very rude especially the manager. I bought the oil which was $31.99 and they charged me $39.99. Tried to explain them that’s when manager started shouting and being rude. Never going back at this location. They are ripping people. Don’t go here

Unfortunately, the auto center at this time of writing the review is understaffed. If they give you a time estimate. Double it and decide if you want to stay. They said 3 hours. It's been 6 hours, and I am still waiting on my oil change and muffler check. If you need something quick, I would advise not to go to this location on a weekend.

They dnt serve for kids.. cuz the store is not kids friendly .... I wish I can give them 0 star. Manager Francis April 30, 2023 at 630pm... he said his higher level won't listen to him n askd me to make d complain my self. They dnt hv washroom access from inside. N I had to TK my 3 year had to go all the way out side in this cold weather n heavy rain to use the washroom. This is ridiculous . Y can't just open the gate from inside here .. Canadian Tire why don't close N go home. U don't expect families to come to ur store?. Come on. Seriously. Come on. Think abt people for a second.. n then u can go n make money.

Bought an umbrella stand and it broke within the first time using it. It was a cheap poorlymade item. Brought it back to get my money back and they didn’t provide my money back.They do not stand by their products and forced me to exchange for another item.Then I had to fight with them to let me exchange for 2 items as they were saying I only get to exchange 1 for 1 even through I brought up 2 items exactly equally the amountHarpreet and Varesha were the two employees spoke with June 19th 1:30

The location has many things and also party city . You can get balloons and also there is a toy sections. But there are kitchen gadgets are pricey . You can get somewhere else for better price .

The standards at this place has really decreased and have not enjoyed my experience at this location. If you know what you are getting and can get it from the shelf and check out, everything is fine. When it comes to asking for help and asking for specific items, customer service is really poor.Requested for a specific generator, first off, coming into the store, online it said there was 2 in stock. Very hard to also find staff around the place and once I located one, she directed me to the aisle and left me there to wait for another representative because it wasn’t her section. It took about 15 minutes for him to arrive and then he told me to wait here once again and will check for it on stock. I wait an additional 20 minutes for him to come back and say “We don’t know where this is, it’s lost somewhere here for a while” and leaves me without providing a solution or recommendation.If it has been lost for a while , why hasn’t there been any accountability to change the stock online or update this? Pretty much wasted my time and did research on my own as the staff at Canadian Tire are incompetent of knowledge towards generators and overall customer satisfaction.Sad to say the place wasn’t even busy as most times and still very super service with staff that have no knowledge on the products itself and where to locate it.Would not recommend to go to this location

Avoid this location and the managers at ALL COSTS! They are rude, aggressive and suspect all customers of stealing.Went to this location for some minor items and was disappointed to find Canadian Tire has now resorted to treating all of its incoming customers as potential theives with their new (to me) 'no bag' policy.I had my backpack with me and was about to enter when stopped by a CT employee...I understand this is their right as a business to enact this policy but they actively discriminate and do not apply this arbitrary rule to everyone fairly!As I'm being stopped like a common thief before even entering...they actively let half a dozen women with LARGE shoulder bags just waltz right in as I was inquiring about the reasoning behind being randomly selected to give them my bag (which contains my medicine and laptop etc) which they don't take any personal responsibility for....and since they have such rampant theft problems WHY would I trust that my items are safe?The manager Archie and John were indignant, lacked compassion and were aggressively disrespectful when I pointed out their hypocrisy, lack of customer service and absolute lack of understanding as to why people would be upset by this. Their sign even says no large purses" but when I questioned why women were let in with HUGE bags the manager Archie said "oh those are purses"....well apparently people with purses don't steal? If you don't want to lose customers then FOLLOW YOUR RULES and apply them evenly!Attached is evidence of their policy and selective discrimination of customers."
