Scheuermann Vineyard & Winery

I love the new pizza menu! the one with garlic oil was delicious and I always have the hibiscus lemonade. Nice they've added a brownie to the dessert menu.

My daughter and I visited Scheuermann's yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was a beautiful day the service was excellent, and food was outstanding. Highly recommend!!!

Had a reservation today and arrived after walking from the downtown harbor at 11:30 am. A few tables were filled with guests, but not too many. We ordered two beverages and when our waitress returned with them we ordered a pizza and a maple balsamic salad that we planned to split since we had partaken in the community breakfast a few hours earlier and weren't super hungry. Over the next 45-60 minutes other guests were seated around us and they began to receive their food orders and 2nd drink orders while we waited. Our waitress seemed sheepish when I asked if our food would be out soon, but never explained. Finally our food arrived (not by our waitress) and we were told he'd bring an extra plate since we were sharing. No plate was ever provided. We managed fine without the plate and both items were great! The setting is too, but we probably wouldn't return due to the poor service we received.

We had a great dinner here. Unfortunately they had run out of ingredients for salads and oysters; however, their wood fired pizzas were pretty good. The wine was ok. The service was very good. I would say the best part of the dining experience was the ambiance. It’s outdoor setting with nice vistas where you can sit under an open air tent or completely outside. A nice place to visit if you are around the area. Oh, the salted honey pie is a must try!

A beautiful setting with spectacular views of the hills and lakes near Westport. Dinning outdoors on the property of the winery, enjoying lovely wines along with wood oven cooked food on a nice summer day is tough to beat. The quality of the food was fantastic, and the service very friendly. It's a destination that we will definitely be visiting again soon in the near future!

Been waiting for months to visit and it did not disappoint!! Beautiful beautiful place , amazing view , great atmosphere!!Started off with a small walk towards the vines and walked around the winery , then enjoyed some wine tasting and finally sat down to eat !!Oysters were fresh and delicious , ordered 2 brick oven pizza that were out of this world and finished off with steak and juicy jumbo shrimp with a nice bottle of wine !!Highly highly recommended , worth the drive !!Our only concern were the table and chair , not very comfortable to sit and enjoy wine for some time !

This is our go-to location for celebrating special occasions, and for making an ordinary day feel extra special. The staff working at the winery are exceptional! They are attentive and humorous, and genuinely seem happy in their environment. By the time guests leave they feel like family. The owners have created such a welcoming atmosphere, both for families and couples. It’s a delight to tour the vineyard and see the sheep, chickens, baby chicks, horses, dogs etc. If you are lucky enough to visit a few times, you can see the progression of the grape vines as they grow toward harvest. The owners take great care to provide not just a meal, but a memorable experience. The wine tasting is a fun activity I’d recommend before you purchase a bottle. During the tasting, interesting information is provided about the different grapes, the vineyard care, and harvesting over the years. The food is the best I’ve tasted. Franco is a professional chef, and his attention to detail and quality, using fresh local ingredients, makes the food it’s own experience! The wood fired pizzas and grilled food are prepared to order, adjacent to the seating area. Orders are brought to the table the minute they’re ready. A visit to this winery is sure to delight each member of your party, regardless of taste preference or age! I highly recommend!

We just love this place. It is unique in the area, so that also makes it an attraction. Unfortunately they always run out of their own wines, so they serve some from their sister winery in Niagara, good wine nonetheless. The specialty this time was oysters, delicious and fresh! But let's talk about their pizza. They have an outdoor oven and their thin crust pizza is delicious! I always have the Caliente, their take on Hawaiian (Chorizo and Pinapple, delish!). My husband loves the steak pizza and our son had the Malta. Simply perfect. Go there for the wine and pizza, return many times for the experience.

We did 2 hour extra on our travel to come here as it seemed to be a good place to try. We were unfortunatly very disappointed by the size of the salad for 16$ and the pizza who was so small that there were more bread than garniture....!Also, It was very surprising that we were refused on tasting their wines in order to choose one? It's the first time a waitress was telling me I have to buy a bottle in order just to taste to make my choice...I recall we are in a vineyard....main reason why we came here in the first place!

An absolutely amazing evening at Scheuermann (pronounced like « fireman ») Vineyard. First the location was wonderful in beautiful countryside and obviously a working farm. Secondly and most impressively, the service was attentive, friendly and impeccable. Lauren & Alison were stellar and as good as service you’d expect at any top 5 star restaurant. Finally the food and wine were excellent. Artichoke dip rated 10 out of 10 by the teens, as did their wood-fired pizza and Francois’ steak was tasty and perfectly medium-rare with tasty mushroom sauce. And we loved the Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Couldn’t ask for anything more… but then got to visit with Miss Madeleine, the lamb they are rehabilitating. ❤️ Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend. You won’t regret a visit!
