I went to replace the TotK OLED that I bought at another GameStop, as it had squeaky joysticks and shoulder buttons, but the employee here was pretty rude and basically pushed me out the door with the one she grabbed, even though I tried it and said it had the same issue. She was like 'do you play with it right next to your head?' and 'we could go through 50 of these and they could all have the same issue' and basically told me to deal with it. I got the feeling it was just her personality and she's just a blunt person, but it heavily came across as 'my judgement is better than yours' and she shot down any rebuttals I had. So now I have a squeaky left joystick (at least the shoulder buttons are quiet on this one) and no chance to change the warranty over to another and so I'm stuck with it. I'm still pretty upset about it a few days later as I'm probably going to have to replace it again and repurchase the $60 warranty. My plan going in had been to ask to test the Joy-Cons of available Switches until I found a working one, as I wanted the product I payed for. I'm pretty bitter about this.

Worst customer service! We bought wired controllers and were not told that we are not able to return them after opening even on the same day, even a store credit, second we were charged the wrong price for one of the controllers and stuff was more than rude! Never come back to this place!

Typical Gamestop, but the employee was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful, and most importantly they were extremely knowledgeable. This is where you should be buying your games and accessories when in Hamilton!!

I never leave google reviews but I’m furious!!!! I went into GameStop at limeridge (Jan 12th around 11:20am) to try and trade in my switch for the OLED model. The lady working did not know any answers to my questions, told me to do more research, and did not offer any solutions for my situation. I wanted to ensure all my data would be transferred over and she said she didn’t know if that’s how it worked. She could have asked me to buy the OLED model and THEN trade in my switch afterwards but didn’t even suggest that. I felt like the biggest inconvenience to her. To best buy I go! Last time I go to GameStop, that’s for sure.

If I could give zero stars I sure would. Purchased an Xbox pack with headset and accessories. Upon attempting to fully charge and use the battery pack it did not work. I was told it would not be an issue. Upon bringing the pack in was told I could not get one as they did not have the exact package I bought. So in one day two people told two completely different things and the sad excuse for an employee did not even attempt to do anything to help me.oh yea I’m also one of their platinum card holders (or whatever the top rewards system is). Will never shop at EB games againAfter reading other reviews I would agree with the descriptions of rude and condescending. It’s pretty sad that in an age where going to a store instead of just buying online that these folks don’t go over and above to ensure that people want to continue to spend our time going in and supporting these businesses. And as a side note this is the first negative review I have ever posted.

They have good stuff in there but the customer service was terrible. Asked a question about a plushie and was greeted rudely. I wouldn’t come back to this location.

I had a very troubling experience here. I was assaulted by another customer, then I was told to leave the store afterwards. The staff was not understanding of the situation and the customer was crazy. Not coming bad, ever

Staff are great at this location and are always very helpful.But the regional managers or whomever run this store really need to consider a bigger retail space in this mall. This store is a shoebox; way too much product crammed into way too small of a space.Every time I'm in there I'm worried about bumping into people or knocking down the product covering almost every square inch of the store. Too much stuff/people and not enough space.It makes physically shopping for items difficult at this location. Even when there's a moderate amount of people in the store you still feel crammed in because of the lack of space.

Staff are friendly and helpful. We have had multiple issues with our Xbox from here. They have replaced it twice already since Christmas which means we're on our fourth Xbox currently. Not sure if this is an Xbox issue with poor quality or if refurbished units are not in proper working order.
