This restaurant definitely has a foreign vibe. The expectations are you find a table and a waiter will come to you. My friend and I dined in after a long day of swimming. The meal prices are definitely cheap and the portions are huge. I had the meal for two people and maybe that's meant for meal for three, but not according to somilian standards. If I lived in Edmonton, I would just order dinner from here 2-3/week and avoid grocery shopping. The meat and rice exceed flavor expectations. Juice price is only $2 and all flavors were tasty. The only room for improvement will be the washrooms.

Very bad customer service. We sat down and the server?/maybe owner looked directly at us and was on the phone but didn’t approach us. After 10 mins, nobody bothered to come serve us or give us a menu. My partner went up to ask them for the menu, and only 3 items are available. We ordered anyways given the restaurants good reviews, but upon paying the total price was NOT the same as the menu price. Was overcharged, horrible service, and people are just extremely rude. Worst restaurant and experience I ever been to

As a black person, I’d love to support other businesses owned by people like me. However, this experience was awful. Picture speaks for itself. Opened my soup and drank it until I almost choked on this piece of plastic.

This was my first time eating from a Somali restaurant. I'm quite impressed. Ordered their Goat Meat served with aromatically spiced rice... Haven't had good mutton in a while. It was really well cooked. And the amount was more than satisfactory. It was so filling. It arrived pretty quickly too.

Large plate of food, rice, goat and salad for $18. Hot food and lots of it, will be returning. Did not expect quality this good, nowhere near mom's cooking, but a hearty place to feel at ease, no loud music either. Trying the chicken next time. So sad to see it that quiet at lunch.

Let's get the obvious out of the way, the service can be a little slow. But that is the only downside. You will pay very little, and get an ungodly amount of food. All the food tastes good. Ask for a mango drink and thank me later. The photo below is my plate of food (after I mixed it up) with my hand for scale.

Food is great and friendly staff. Price is good as compared to other restaurants in nearby My favorite so far are goat ribs waslad and chicken barbecue delicious with rice.
