Best chicken, cod fish and fries ever, thier chicken and fries is very crispy, taste nice and not salty like what I'm usually been served at some big name restaurants. Best served/ eaten when its still hot/warm

Chester's Fried Chicken and Fish
Tonight my husband and I decided to try Chester's. We ordered the #3 combo. Very delicious!!! We are both from the cost and the fish was perfect. Fried chicken tasted better than KFC. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly. Thank you for a great dinner.

Google reviews brought me to Chester’s and it did not disappoint. The owner was extremely nice. The chickens I had were crispy and juicy. The fries were crispy and I love the gravy. And best of all, the chicken meal I had was very inexpensive. You can’t find better deal anywhere else!

This was one of the absolutely worst dining experiences I've ever had the displeasure of having. Do not believe any of the positive reviews on this place because they are all fake and from friends/family.1. The old man who helped us was extremely rude and greasier than the chicken they served.2. They force you to tip on payment, with no option to opt out. Why would I tip you if you were rude?3. We waited 30 minutes for 6 pieces of chicken.4. The fries are frozen fries from Costco.5. The fried chicken was NOT seasoned. There was barely any flavour in it.6. The place was dirty and crusty. Not well-kept.

i luv fried chicken and enjoyed some plus fish and chips, and a few other goodies.The owners work there and they’re so kind!The fried chicken was tender, the breading crispy and didn’t feel greasy. I also tried the potato wedges and fries, and the fries were definitely a winner for me! I don’t usually get fish but wow I loved the fish with a bit of lemon dipped in tartar sauce!! I also tried the shrimp which I never get/try since I’m not a fan, but it’d be good to order if you’re a fan!fyi: all the food is halal.check out @eatinggoodinyyc for more Calgary food spots and reviews!

Chester's Fried Chicken and Fish
First time eating at a Chester's, went for the fried chicken to compare to others. Chicken was very good and juicy. Got the family combo with fries and gravy. Fries and gravy paired very well and gravy was good. Would put this chicken way above KFC (which most other places are) and better then Mary browns in my opinion as well. Owner was very nice and friendly. Cod they had out to fry look good and smelled great. Will have to try the fish next time.

Chester's Fried Chicken and Fish
One of the best and freshest chicken I’ve tried. The skin was crispy and meat was so tender that it falls off the bone. The waiting time is 15-20 minutes which means they make and cook their food fresh, but you can also call them ahead of time to pick up orders to avoid the waiting time. Definitely recommend this place!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time....very pleased! We have driven by many times and finally decided to give it a try.Food was fresh hot and plenty.Staff was friendly and pleasant.Tried the fish and chips and because we wanted to check out the chicken we ordered 2 pieces. All I can say is YUM!We will be back for sure.

My top tier chicken places are Yum Yum and Popeye's. If you don't agree, then it's best to skip this review. :)Now that we have that baseline set, Chester's fried chicken will give the Colonel a run for their money. It's delectable and well seasoned. The fish and chips are stellar as well and the odd ball Biryani knocks it out of the park. I would definitely return to this family run business for support. Keep up the great meals!
