The reviews speak for itself, 3.7 is not good. I called beforehand and SPECIFICALLY asked if I needed proof of residency and they said no just birth certificate was okay. I even said I could attain that but they told me it wasn't needed, then essentially said I needed it to change the address on my old ID when taking my learners so regardless I'd have to come back again. My main issue was the customer service, I worked in customer service for YEARS/currently do and not once did the lady or the one who overheard/was assisting her apologize for giving me misinformation over the phone. I get that if they legally can't do it then they can't but the least you can do is take responsibility on behalf of who I spoke too for giving me incorrect information and wasting my time. When you work in customer service it is literally your job to rectify situations and something as simple as being empathetic would have completely changed the entire situation. The girl beside me had an issue with them about misinformation as well so it seems to be a pattern with them. Clearly the staff isn't trained properly/consistently and can't take accountability. My entire frustration could have been avoided if they literally empathized with me and said sorry. Would not recommend this place at all, especially after seeing someone right beside me go through the same thing. I even probed explaining how I felt hoping she would be understanding at least about that but no, not friendly not very nice. Don't go here. I went to a different registry and it was a great experience it's called mojo in the south, they gave me the CORRECT information and apologized about my experience with this place and actually let me know I do need proof of residency and it needs to be within 3 months (which shocker this place STILL didn't tell me that in person so if I came back with my lease which I initially was going to use wouldn't have been accepted and I would have got denied again)

I brought my daughter here today to write her learners as it was one of the few registries whose website and Google results said are open on Sundays. Their website clearly states they are open from noon to 5pm on Sunday’s. We got there at about 11:50am and there was a line at the door so I thought for sure they must be opening at noon. Along comes noon and the place is dark with no one inside at all. There were about 20-25 people waiting and they never opened. Don’t put your hours on your website if they are not correct!! That alone made sure I never go here again.

Did my road test here with Simon and he was super professional, and acknowledgeable about driving. The workers here are kind and good at what they do. Despite having a lineup, the employees work very fast to assist each person.

This is a good log in Calgary I've tried more log but not any one like this in Calgary. A guy named i don't remember the exact name is Chinese about 40-50 years old he is a good person if you want to test 5th grade. I never forget this guy how nice he is to me. .Today I passed the practical driving test, and it was very smooth and flexible, so that I did not feel that I was being tested, and I was comfortable, as if I was with one of my family, because the expert observer did not pressure me, and he was classy and respectful. He carried out his work professionally and accurately. Thank you for your time, and thank you for making my day

I recently conducted a road test with Simon and he was amazing. I was extremely nervous and Simon was so easy going and personable that the nervousness quickly disappeared. He is also extremely helpful. I highly recommend you book with Simon for your road test.

Had the best experience with Mary-Ann. I was looking for a very specific motorcycle license plate and when I called in and talked to her. She was very friendly and helpful. She found what I wanted and made sure I got it when I arrived there. Thank you!

Everything is good except some of the staff here gives favour to their knowns. Simply calling them aside from the queue and helping them before the people standing upfront them. I’ll simply request you folk not to pollute the system here by putting the favouritism ahead because everyone has the same value for their time. Thanks.

Came here to switch my provincial license over. ***Called first to make sure I was bringing all correct documents.*** It was all confirmed.I went to this registry on July 1st as many other registries were closed. It was a 50 minute drive (one way). When I arrived I was told about a missing document. One I was never told to bring. Drove an hour back home, and then an hour back to this dive with new document. They then filled out all paperwork. I paid the fee in cash and did not receive a receipt.Fast forward 4 days later, this registry calls me to inform me that they entered my wrong birthdate in and the government needs it changed. The lady on the phone calls me from a ‘personal cell phone’ to confirm my birthdate, and then TELLS me to drive back to correct the problem.Why am I at a loss here? Why do I need to keep jumping through hoops and bending over backwards for a place that doesn’t care to say or do anything correctly?Place is a disaster folks, avoid the headaches and just stay away.
