BrightPath Southwood East

I’ve had some experience with local daycares and it all wasn’t great. However, the care and support given by this location has been truly amazing! The staff are extremely caring, and conscientious to the needs of the kiddos at the centre.When our family was facing some challenges, they were very supportive and conveyed understanding and compassion. Marla and Carmen always made us feel welcome and tried to make things easier for us in any way possible. Leaving your children in the care of others for 8 hours a day can certainly be daunting. I felt that leaving my kids there was so very enriching for them and knowing they were loved and cared for as they were definitely made it easier! Thank you Southwood East Brightpath!!

We moved our child to BrightPath Southwood East a month ago and couldn't be happier. The staff are always engaging with the children and responding to the children's needs. They are very safety conscious, which we appreciate. Our child always comes home happy and excited about the day's activities.

We've had at least one kid here for the past 5 years (both kids have gone or are still going) and it's been amazing. They are learning tons, always look forward to going and the staff truly care for our kids. Such a great place; I'd recommend it to anyone.

Our son was at this location for over 2 and a half years and our family has nothing but positive things to say about the program and staff. The care and support they provided to not only our son but our entire family was so amazing, it made our first day care experience memorable and enjoyable (and built a solid trusting relationship). I really wish we could have continued with the program but we will always be grateful for all the lessons and support our son received while in their care. We will miss everyone there very much.

I brought my daughter to Southwood East in January 2021. She is in the infant room with Ms. Lisa & Ms. Vivian. The bond that my daughter shares with her teachers is fantastic. She loves coming to the centre and enjoys all the time she shares with the other children and the teachers. She is learning so much and has started talking way more since she started at the centre. I love that I receive pictures through the app and how detailed her day is so I have a great understanding of what is happening on a daily basis. I am glad that she is in a centre that I can trust and I know she is taken care of. Thank you to the whole team at Southwood East for making this decision easy for me.

We have been enrolled at Southwood East for almost a year now. What I love the most about this team of teachers is how much they truly care about all of the kids. I know mine are in good hands when I drop them off. Communication is great with the management team and I love the HeyMama app where I get real time updates on how much they eat, how much they sleep, diaper changes and pictures of them participating in activities.Although the facility is older, the backyard is huge with lots of fun toys to play with. I like that it is also not located on a main road too. You won't go wrong signing up for daycare here! :)

My daughter has attended BrightPath Southwood East for several months now. We were extremely nervous about finding a new place to take care of our daughter after moving to Calgary. The Director Carmen reassured us that their facility would fit our needs. The teachers have taken the time to get to know our daughter. It's not just her class of teachers that acknowledge her but the other teachers as well. The teacher ensure to communicate any concerns they may have. We're very happy to be bringing our daughter to BrightPath Southwood East.

My youngest son(3rd of 3) was in Southwood east location and he loved it. I appreciate the teachers that took him on. His father is in the oilfield and is gone most of the time so it was difficult for him to transition on the days dad left. Mr. Henry was my son's comfort every change of shift. He helped him understand that dad will be back after a while and he has so many friends that he can play with and tell dad about when he came back. The other teachers that were involved with my son taught him how to be kind and helpful. They taught him things I wouldn't have the patience to...like potty training. LOVE Them for that.The whole staff at the center are very welcoming and they helped me feel comfortable to leave my baby in the care of others. I appreciate all they do. Thank you.

Our son has attended BrightPath Southwood East for 3 years now and has always enjoyed his time there. His teachers have always been experienced, kind, gentle, and fun! The meals are healthy and I feel confident that he’s getting all the healthy fuel he needs in the day to learn. We look forward to sending our baby daughter to the centre once she turns one!

Amazing childcare center. The entire staff is very friendly and everyone appears to be extremely dedicated to the children they take care of. My daughter is in the downstairs room (for infants and toddlers) and the ladies down there are always going above and beyond. I can tell they really care about my little girl. I also appreciate that I don't have to worry about people I don't know coming in and out all day long, like I would have to in a day-home. I also like that there are a number of adults taking care of the kids, that way I know that there is always someone looking out for the well-being of my baby. I have already recommended the center to my sister-in-law, and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a safe place to drop their kids off while they're at work.
