I received two quotes for work on my driveway. One was to seal the cracks due to settling and the other for more substantial repairs which would prevent cracks from developing. I chose to just seal the cracks because it was the cheaper option. The crew that arrived to do the work quickly determined that sealing the cracks would not be effective and said they would be back the following week and try something different. When they came back they resurfaced the entire area and did an incredible job. When I phoned their office to compliment their work and offer to pay the cost of the extra work they refused, despite my insistence, to accept anything more than their original quote for sealing the cracks.

Five Star did an excellent job creating a new driveway for us - their service was quick and professional and the quality was excellent.Originally they had left part of the driveway unsealed, which we did not want. When I contacted them to come back they were quick and responsive and finished the job quickly.Very satisfied with the work and service.

Five star was on time, and did a fantastic job paving our driveway. The price was more than fair, and was the best of the quotes that we got. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them in the future.

We've had our driveway now for about 4 years and it's still perfect. The tamped edges are easy to weed eat, the road base is obviously packed well, there is no cracking, and the contouring for the drains is effective.

I called five star paving as they were doing a job next-door. I had a small crack in the front part of my walkway. It was a hazard waiting to happen.I talked to Andrew and he said he would come right away and take a look. He brought his saw and cut out the area that needed to be repaired. The next day the crew came back and filled it. I would highly recommend Five Star Paving for big jobs or a small one like mine.

The set up for an estimate was seamless and easy. Suzanne was responsive and friendly. My first impression was that this was a very organized company and was excited to potentially work with them.However, on the day of the estimate and 17 min late later - there would not an estimate; or event attempt. This is after I have indicated that I was also considering other estimates - as most people would do. The attitude seemed to have changed.I advised of the design and requirements of a concrete patio which would involve demo and retaining walls but would be open to other ideas. I asked at least three times if there were other options and for his opinion. On all times it appeared that he was not interested in the job. James mentioned that the work would require too much and he did not have the crew to do the work - as well, the truck would be too big to access the side (I have a tight 8 ft. wide clearance on the side of the house).It seems that this company will only do easy jobs that require less people and little or no forming and on open easy to access spaces. Had I known this was the case, I would not be wasting either of our times. I might consider them for driveways in the future but only that.
