Wow. The receptionist I spoke to today (March 10 at 11:20am) was one of the most useless people I've ever dealt with. She didn't answer my questions, I was just calling to ask if they have psychiatrists on staff for my elderly aunty. She wouldn't answer a simple question and started laughing at me. Terrible.

I’ve seen Michael so many times and he is the absolute best counsellor I have ever encountered in all my years of therapy. He will always be my go to.He listens, gives great advice and knows how to put a smile on your face. He is amazing!

Crisis Counseling Walk-In-Clinic
I have been to the crisis counseling walk-in here twice, and found them to be very beneficial both times. They will listen, ask relevant questions, and suggest different resources and paths forward. If you are at the end of your rope, this is a great first step on your mental health journey.*I also want to note, that this is not for emergency situations. Emergency mental health is meant to be access from the hospital, so please go straight there if you need immediate and critical help.

Going to this place was the first step in creating the life that I love today. Specifically a very caring nurse named Karen She hooked me up with a treatment centre in Vancouver that would meet my needs and the rest is history.I got help here and I hope you can, too.(Be patient with the workers, they are just humans. *heart* )

Crisis Counseling Walk-In-Clinic
They say the walk in for mental health help is open until 6pm but they become over capacity by 4pm. I even called before trying to go in because I didn't want to get turned down when reaching out for help. Of course I get there and get turned away. If you get over capacity by 4, why don't you have your walk in services close at 4, so you don't waste the time of people who are already hurting.

I have to admit, I was very hesitant to go here based on these other reviews, but I had reached the end of my own strength, so I went. The reception staff was pleasant and helpful, and the wait to see someone was not very long.The person I saw was extremely helpful and insightful, offering me options that I had not considered, or even known about. The help they gave me, and the strategies they helped me begin to set in place, have really made a way through a very difficult place for me.
