The owner was amazing. I'm from out of town and was looking for a 5 string bass. I got an amazing piece and he made sure I was taken care of and that I was happy with my purchase. After previously getting intruments from a certain chain *cough* L&M and I was never really happy when I left the store. I couldn't have been happier leaving the store and I will check out this spot every time I'm back in Oakville.

Really nice store with knowledgeable staff. I think the prices are fair, picked up a really nice guitar for the price I would have paid in a private sale for a much lesser version of that guitar. The area around is nice as well with a lot of places to grab a meal

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a Guitar/Music store. Although the selection is modest, they are licensed dealers for increasingly difficult to find brands. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, and take great care of their inventory. Plenty of unique trade ins, going for great deals. It's Mom and Pop shops like this that I'll do my best to support.

I contacted Dean Guitars to find a Canadian supplier for the Guitar I was looking to buy - A hunt that took me months to finally complete. Dean ended up giving Paul at Guitar World in Oakville my details and they located the specific model in Montreal.I put down a deposit, at a very reasonable rate of 25% and the Guitar was shipped to the store in days! With my Financial situation, it's sometimes hard to tell when I'll have the money I need, but Paul was very flexible and was more than willing to work with me, even if that meant keeping the Guitar in the shop for a month or two.Went down this morning and picked it up, the service was great, more than willing to chat and incredibly polite. If you're in the Halton Region, GO TO THIS SHOP! I guarantee you won't regret it.Thanks again, Paul.~C

I saw the Bass guitar I like from the website. Dropped by the next day and ended up buying more. Don’t get me wrong but they have some stuff that L&M doesn’t have. Paul is accommodating and help you out with all your queries.

I went to guitar world in 2016 and bought a used ibenez electric guitar. I was a new guitar player and trusted the store owners advise. When I went back home in Brampton, 1 hour drive, I couldn’t play it without buzz. I bought it for $400 and it has severe fret buzz and flat frets. A BIG DISHONEST SERVICE MAN. I have to pay a full guitar recrowning for $250 the price of the guitar new(added to the $400)! Imagine a guitar I could get for 700$ I think his name was David and he was in his mid 50’s+ looked like the owner.
