Chippewa Falls Rest Area
What a beautiful and powerful waterfall. Stopped there on my drive to Manitoba with my girlfriend. Fun place to explore and take a well needed break

It looks like a regular rest area but if you go on the small path, you'll see a wonderful falls. We swam in the river and stay there for a while. If you go further in the path, you'll see the higher falls. If I ever pass on this highway ever again, I'll stop for sure.

Gorgeous rapids, visitors can walk along the rocks to get some great photos. There was parking and some benches to sit at as well.

Great rest stop with stunning views of the falls. Washroom huts close in the cold weather months so be careful around the back cause that's where everyone goes. Just make sure you check out the falls.

Incredible view of the falls. Take a walk just a few minutes up the trail and see the upper falls also.

Great stop on Trans Canada. Did you know this is approximately half way of Trans Canada? The falls are visible from the bridge over the river, but a short hike will reward you greatly.

Fantastic rest stop, clean public washrooms, stunning walking/hiking trails, be careful, the trails are quite rugged and difficult to navigate, overlooking Chippewa Falls.this is the halfway point if the Trans Canada Highway, several historic plaques. Picnic tables available in flat area beside parking area. Great photo spots and views available from highway walking bridge
