We had the lunch special. It was ok, however the other sushi options on the menu look great. I’ll have to come back to try those. Service was good, but a little slow. Many locals eat here. Large variety of sushi options.

Friendly staff, fast service! I had lunch special at noon, which is a good deal! It includes salad, rice and sushi. When I left, I packed a roll set. It was very fresh and well packaged, the staff provided everything I would need. Absolutely Pleasant Experience!

I ordered for Father's Day. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. The pricing was fair and affordable. I will definitely come back!

I honestly enjoyed it, and is possibly my new favorite restaurant here in St. John's. Everything was a 10/10. The service was nice, we had issues but not enough to annoy me. The food tasted amazing, especially the Red Dragon Roll and the Orange Chicken. For the place or atmosphere, it was a complete 10/10, it looked so well made, so modern and not outdated, made me feel like I was all the way back in Japan, in those centuries old restaurants, truly the perfect experience for people new to these food dishes and for experienced diners.Wish the best of luck to Sun Sushi, and hope that it may last for a long time. 10/10.

We eat here almost every time we are in St. Johns. Haven't bothered trying any other sushi places in town because this one is just so consistently good. One of our favorite food stops.

Just called to ask if they had buffet at kenmount road and order if not and the lady that answered the phone said no, no Buffett here, buffet at torbay rd and downtown, ok bye and hung up in my face. That was good enough for me so I went to ocean sushi, food is delicious here may I add!!

Maki was good and fresh but pieces were small. I also pre ordered take out and asked for extra ginger. When I got there to pick it up I asked again if there was extra ginger they say oh yes lots in the bag. When I got home there was ONE tiny little container that was an inch high and wide and not even full. After spending over $50 plus tax and a tip I am not happy! This isn’t the first time it has happened. I will not be going back! I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

I prefer the sushi here to Sushi nami but didn't like the noodles! Bad bones are my only fav. for ramen! Sorry, the fried dumplings are blurry, but they tasted good! They gave a complimentary tempura shrimp! Fast service and friendly staff!
