I came here to get my dress tailored that was slightly too large for me. They were so kind in helping me and quickly assessed what needed to be done and informed me of the cost (which stayed the same when I returned for pick up). My dress was covered in lace, so it was hard to take it in from the sides, but she took it in from the zipper and you cannot tell that any tailoring had been done, but it fit perfectly and snugly! I highly recommend this small family business for your tailoring needs :)

Almost a year ago, Liz took me in as a coop student, even though we weren't sure how well the placement was going to work, it worked perfectly for the both of us. Not only have I learned about sewing I've learned a lot more life skills too. I'd definitely recommend going to Bart & Maria Tailoring she's reasonable, understanding, professional, great listener and teacher.

I just love Liz. She's always bright and bubbly and a great problem solver. I come in with lots of dresses and pieces that usually require some reconstruction and she never bats an eyelash. Has come up with some pretty ingenious solutions for some pieces, too. I wholly trust her opinion. Fast turn around, very reasonably priced. Just love going there!

Liz is amazing!!! Very friendly, attentive and professional. She has been tailoring my clothes for many years, nothing i purchase fits me properly and she makes it work, always. Just recently i ripped one of my favorite dresses, i believed it could not be fixed, i brought it to the shop. Even though i could not remain the same, she transformed it into a new dress, better then the original. Im grateful for such a creative tailor.

Everything went perfectly smoothly and the price was just about what I expected.I needed a fairly quick turn around for a wedding, and I got pinned up, came back a week later and it all looked great on me!No muss no fuss!

Called ahead to find out if I could get curtains shortened a couple inches with same day turnaround. Elizabeth offered a date to bring them in to get them done the same day, so I brought them in and she did a great job! Super speedy and the curtains looks wonderful. So happy we don't have safety pins keeping the curtains from trailing on the floor anymore :) Good price!
