Pasto’s Grill
We were here tonight to celebrate an anniversary. Haven’t been back since COVID and it sure is nice to be back on a special occasion.Portions are big and satisfying. We find that the olive oil and vinaigrette is no longer part of the table setting? Not sure if that was a COVID change or because bread was no longer served with our meals. In any case, we did order the half portion baguette with the garlic butter which was delightful, as well as an order of the calamari.Pasta are all cooked to perfection, some may use a little more salt (which we can’t find at the table neither?) but that may just be our own personal preference.Be sure to make a reservation because the place does get busy, and sadly they are not open on Sunday or we would have visited more often!

Lots of choices on the menu. Every plate was very well put together by the back staff.It was a real trEat to have this at the end of the day.The front staff were exceptional.Thanks Kat, Emma, Juliette and all.Sorry I drank all of your ginger beer ;)

Amazing food for an italian restaurant in the middle of somewhere. My girlfriend took me here because she heard it was a good place. I loved everything about it, great cuisine, friendly staff, good atmosphere and fair prices.

The food is delicious. Authentic Italian. Service was excellent. But, they used to serve bread with olive oil on the side but they don't anymore. You have to buy a slice now. Bread on the side always should go with a pasta sauce.

Had a quick salad to tie us over between a wedding ceremony and reception. Ordered Greek Salad and partner has Caesar Salad. Both were delicious and super fresh! Olives were whole kalamata olives with the pits removed!Atmosphere was a little blah. Mainly because it was mid afternoon and beautiful outside but inside it was dark and dingy looking. The place is clean and gorgeous but not enough natural light comes in for lights to be off at that time of day.We will be going back to try some actual food as the menu looked delicious!

The prices are slightly higher than a regular family restaurant, but the food was delicious. There was 5 of us for supper and we all had different meals and about 4 appetizers, and it was all delicious without using salt to mask mediocre foods. Appetizers were bread loaf, steamed mussels, calamari, lobster pasta. The bread was warm and very fresh, crispy exterior and soft interior. The calamari were lightly batter, with a light crunch and tender inside. Service was great. We got all our food within a very reasonable wait and we never had to ask for something. The restaurant was also 3 min from the 401, which was great for us as we were heading back home east on the highway.

Fantastic hidden gem! The food here is amazing, and the service was top-notch. It was well worth the stop.This restaurant is very popular with the locals.I would suggest getting a reservation if you are considering eating here.
