I live in Toronto and was in desperate need of new serger knives. The staff at That Sewing Place were so kind and patient with me as I called several times a day to ask questions about what I needed and how to install the new blades. Wayne especially was very helpful and I'm so glad I now have the right replacement parts (they arrived in Toronto within a day!). I wish this place were closer to home - I would come in for all my sewing needs!

I purchased a 10 needle Entrepreneur Pro Embroidery machine for my wife from Liana and her family and can safely say that the customer service and quality of products being offered at this store is second to none.Superb support from the whole team (we love the fact it is a family atmosphere), fantastic instructional classes, brilliant technical help from Jaret (he is truly a mechanical genius) and highly competitive pricing.Many sincere thanks for the years of support for my wife and her favourite hobby- you folks are the best. :-)))

WOW. I could not find the correct bobbin anywhere to fit my old White 5500 machine and was desperate as I had only one. Jaret searched online, looked in so many little compartments, in the back room and spent at least 20 minutes of his time searching for, and finding, the correct bobbin. I was amazed at the amount of work he put in for an 85 cent sale!!! All customer service should be like this. Thank you. I will be back

Best sewing store for sewing machines and classes!!! Staff are very friendly and super helpful. The classes are great and make using a new machine much easier and more fun. My boyfriend and i are constantly coming returning for their products and helpful tips!

Just purchased my first sewing and embroidery machine at a great deal. Best Bernina and Brother dealer in the GTA. Amazing and friendly customer service. If you want a great and positive place to learn about your machine and embroidery, this is the place to be. Liana is a patient and enthusiastic teacher. You will get great support for your projects.

Amazing place! Super friendly family run business. Never felt rushed, felt they genuinely cared to show me how to use the sewing machine I bought, I’m a beginner and they had no problem taking the time to run me thought everything I needed to get started. I feel very free to stop by if I had a question or concern. They are the WHOLE PACKAGE. You get great prices and pristine service. This was my first time there and 100% I’ll be back for anything sewing related.

I. LOVE . THAT SEWING PLACE. I am a newbie wannabe sewer, and I am learning so much in their classes that I am becoming more and more sure of my sewing abilities. Not to mention the “staff” and I use quotes because honestly, once you’ve been in the store a couple of times, you are greeted by your name and it’s more like coming to a friend’s home. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable and if you wander looking at “stuff” (because you came for a class you are registered in, but it turns out that it actually starts the following week) you get invited to sit and offered a cup of tea. LOL

Wow. Nice to go to a store that has knowledgeable , friendly, happy staff. They really take great care of my wife's sewing needs.Got a great deal on a machine for Christmas. Came with lessons which is great because the new machines have so many features it's great to learn from experts.Had the old Kenmore machine tuned up there, made an old machine work much better.Highly recomend this store for machine and sewing needs.
