If I could give them less stars I would! They took advantage of me when I was at my weakest. There are so many other great resources out there that will give you more help then what you pay at Career Joy. I almost feel like reporting them to better business bureau! PLEASE do not pay the 2000+$. The lady that was assisting me at the YMCA for free created a far better resume! Career Joy makes me sick that they can take advantage of people like that! How can they sleep at night?

Thanks to Career Joy I was able to regain my confidence to re-enter the workplace and find a job in my field that was best suited for me.The coaching taught me how to job search, interview & use networking skill to take control and find my next opportunity. I not only had a better sense of market value but a clear direction of how to get there. I would not have been prepared to represent myself as well without the Career Joy coach! I recommend using their services if you find yourself looking for your next career.

My experience with CareerJoy, and in particular my career counselling with Jane, has been life changing. Jane provided a warm, caring and professional environment, and took a holistic approach to our sessions. She always took my lifestyle and values into consideration when guiding me throughout the process. Jane is a ray of sunshine and has her clients' best interests at heart. The career counselling process through CareerJoy is very thorough and incorporates skills, abilities, personal values, life goals, and career history. I worked with Paula where we spent 4 sessions navigating potential interview questions and refining the answers so that when I have my interview, I will be able to cover everything. Fast forward to April 2022 and I recieved the job offer interviewed for. I'm happy that I invested in these coaching sessions. It has helped me and will help me in any future interviews I may compete in.

I really enjoyed my coaching session. The instructor was really easy to talk to and the discussion was always very relatable. We used real issues in my work as examples and worked out solutions together.. The instructor did not stop at solving the issues. She went on and guided me to look behind the issues and try to think about the root causes and more generally, what strategies I should use to manage the issues. Very insightful!

I was thoroughly impressed with the services I received from George and his team at CareerJoy! In the summer of 2020, I left a job that I held for over 20 years. I had thought that I'd retire there, but it had become a place that I knew I needed to leave. I was frightened. I was 59 years old, and had neither applied or interviewed for a new job in 25 years! I had been looking forward to winding down my career, not ramping it up. I was very apprehensive at the beginning and a good friend of mine recommended that I reach out to Career Joy and have a chat, from the initial consultation with Meagan and to my coaching session with Lisa, the whole process has been very eye opening and helpful for me.
