Inspired by Southern California surf culture, this airy locale is the next best thing to coasting down the 101 with no plan. Good food, staff is friendly but they need more of them. Lots of gluten free options. See the posted photo for items that are gluten free or can be made gluten free. The pork tacos we ordered were made with corn tortillas, the burger is tasty but is not gluten free.

My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight and we were extremely impressed. The food was great and served in generous portions. I had a Beef Burrito and it was amazing. It's also huge, I could only eat half and took the rest home. My wife had a Tofu Taco and absolutely loved it. She also had a Vegetarian Burger that she loved. The resteraunt is clean with a very nice decor. Our waitress, who's named Mary did an exceptional job and was very helpful with her advice when we ordered. Thank you Mary! Thank you Surfy Surfy for a wonderful meal.

Randomly decided to eat here for dinner after shopping and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Our server, Keaton, was awesome and the food was delicious, especially the tuna ceviche. I'd definitely come back.

Excellent vibes. The whole atmosphere here is relaxed and welcoming. Our server, Keaton, was phenomenal. He was friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.The tacos were excellent; tried almost all of them. Also really enjoyed the fries, though I’ve never met a bowl of fries I didn’t love.Classic margaritas are solid, and also great with a bit of spice.Overall, I recommend you skip the food court and come here!

This place was booked for Christmas dinner with my work team after hearing alot of good reviews about it. Seating was smooth, ambiance was beautiful. The menu options are limited though we all ordered quite a few things for each of us. The major disappointment for everyone were the drinks. Most of us had virgin drink yet few of my colleagues did ordered cocktails. We all didn’t like the taste of it. All the drinks were too sweet. We also gave our feedback to the server who recommended us those drinks, yet she didn’t give any response on it. We ordered nachos, kimchi fries, edamame, beef bowl, different tacos. Yet the only thing that was good and I can have it again was kimchi fries. I wanted to try the ice cream with churros yet I was so disappointed with the food and drinks that I didn’t wanted to disappoint myself more. I might go again to try the dessert only yet still not decided. Appetisers are better than the main course without a doubt.

Really enjoyed our supper here, no room on a Saturday night but they fit our party of two at the bar. We had a great time chatting with the bar staff who were super friendly and gave great recommendations on food and cocktails. Recommend the beef taco and lime margarita! Will definitely be back when we need a mini vacation break with cocktails!

Had a wonderful lunch with friend at Surfy Surfy. It's a bit tricky to find, located in a corner at Chinnok Mall, a pizza place shares the upstairs and Surfy Surfy on the bottom. Bright, well decorated restaurant. Margaritas are excellent, the pork taco was excellent...small...but excellent. The fish taco was excellent. Had the churro dessert recommended by server and it was excellent. This is my new favorite place to meet for lunch. It's a titch pricey, but worth it. Service was excellent as well.

I had a great time at Surfy Surfy! The California-style Mexican fusion dishes were delicious, and I loved the unique twist with Japanese & Korean ingredients. The surf vibes made for a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and the service was prompt and friendly. While I would have love to get a salsa with the tacos & gringa, overall it was a great experience. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

Our group of ten was taken care of very well. Our server was quick and very helpful. Ordering drinks was a bit of a gong show between them telling us that they did not have some of the ingredients to make their cocktails and then mixing up a few of our orders. The food was pretty delicious with the potato taco being the surprising standout. Surfy Surfy is an overall tasty time.

Wow! I love the addition of this restaurant to Chinook Mall! I want to start it off by letting you know that it is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. However, it does take a California twist on Tex-Mex. I really enjoyed their nachos and their chicken taco. The nachos were just awesome. Lots of guacamole and cheese and not a single chip was dry. Each chip had something on it. However, if you don't like cilantro, you probably won't like it. However, I like it because it provided a nice, fresh contrast to the creaminess.Also, the vibe of the restaurant is great. It's styled very well, looks modern. Everything looks new and everything just melts together nicely.Also, as for service, our server karma was a treat. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and super duper nice to us. Would definitely go here again and again and again.
