Revera The Annex

The Annex is one of the more finely appointed Retirement Homes conveniently downtown Toronto.The team there has the ability to blend their specialties of independent living staff and supportive care professionals. They welcome residents into their “home” and make it theirs.I have watched staff member Monique Dionne, curate welcome baskets for each person uniquely. I know how well supported she is by all of her colleagues in the different departments. They make move in day seamless for new families.I have had the pleasure to work with Monique on a number of occasions. The Revera by Annex has a great Family Friendly Environment.All Staff here treat the residents respectfully, the recreational Activities for the residents are also very fun and Educational. I Would definitely recommend this retirement home to friends and family as a great place of living. 10/10

I am a Social Worker in private practice and was considering moving one of my clients into a Retirement Home or Long-Term Care Facility. I came across Revera's Annex location online and, at first glance, it appeared to be a clean, well maintained, beautiful home for senior citizens.Getting my client in was hassle-free. The staff that I interacted with, Monique and Georgette, were extremely helpful, supportive and responsive throughout all our exchanges.When my Client arrived at his new home, he was excited and told me that it far exceeded his expectations!I would not hesitate to refer future Clients or anyone seeking housing for a senior citizen to Revera. The staff's professionalism, dedication and concern for their clients makes me feel confident that choosing Revera was the right decision for my Client.

I worked with the team at Revera when helping a family member with a transition the Retired Living. What struck me most was the compassion and gentleness of the team at the Annex, who were keen to help identify the areas of concern for my family. From COVID protocols, to menus, to television services and housekeeping, Monique and her team (nurses, reception, etc) were awesome. Smart, patient and caring. Questions were encouraged, and answered. I was relieved to learn that residents were able to set their own lifestyles and that the building has a very residential feel to it. One thing that my loved one wanted was to not be somewhere where they felt like they were in a hospital. There is even a bar/lounge where residents can mingle and have a beer and socialize. Location was also great, very vibrant neighbourhood, walking distance to Bloor.

I have lived at The Annex" for the past 1 1/2 yrs. After researching 60-70 retirement homes I decided on "The Annex" because of the location and amenities. Staff is excellent

My brother has lived here at the Annex for two years now and he is very happy. The staff are wonderful and the service and meals are excellent. During Covid everything was handled with extreme care and there were no cases with the residents. My brother enjoys the friendship of so many of the residents. It's location is ideal for quietness, walking the neighbourhood and using the TTC.
