Greenwood Retirement Communities has been using Scout Recruitment software as our Recruitment software and Application Tracking Tool for 5 years now. I am consistently impressed and pleased with the new features they come up with and improvements to keep things fresh and functioning well. Most recently they have created very useful videos they send to support their response on our questions on how to use a feature - super helpful! Most importantly though; their customer service is outstanding. Always available; always caring, always helpful.

For any company, please STAY AWAT from Scout Talent Canada. The recruiters are medicore salespeople who want to charge their fee without adding any value. Scout Talent only presented 4 candidates, 2 of which we already interviewed and declined, in 2.5 months time frame. Their sales pitch and business model is misleading. They want you to pay in advnace for poor marketing campagin they run that yielded 0 candidates for us.I was persistently contacted, probably 5 or 6 times, by National Business Development Executive, Megan Heine, asking to give Scout Talent an opportunity to work on any of our open roles. I gave them the opportunity to work on our Project Manager, Apartments role in Calgary in November 2021. They wasted my time and my hiring managers' time with empty promises and poor understanding of our business needs.Instead of acknowledging they performed poorly, they harrassed our Finance and Office Management Team asking to process an overdue" invoice without delivering on anything."

This company have called about 3 times since our company has posted on an ad for hire on Canada Job Bank. Do they not know, if a company is seeking employees, they are most likely short staffed and do not have time to deal with a company harassing them. If we want your help we will ask for it!!

I work in HR for a group of companies with 4000-5000 employees, with 60+ facilities across BC & AB. Scout has been a game changer for us in terms of recruitment and communication around recruitment/candidates both within the company and with candidates themselves. Scout's software solutions are super customizable and with a great team of reps that go above & beyond to make the system work for you as best as possible, even providing advice and solutions outside of their job duties to help when we were first getting things going as our HR department managing all recruitment efforts was relatively new to the company. One of the things I appreciate with Scout is that they are only ever offering solutions they think we could truly use - they are not salespeople just trying to push their software to make a buck!

We have been working with Scout Talent since 2014. We have found working with Scout to be very beneficial especially as we continue to grow. Our rep, Scott Newsome has been available whenever we need him and the team has been great at meeting our needs with regards to advertising campaigns that target suitable candidates. The turnaround time for quotes and launching of recruiting campaigns has continually been efficient and they regularly check in to see how the recruiting is going, as well as consistently following up with us about our experience with the hiring process. The use of the Recruit portal was easy and integrated easily with our Careers page. This allowed us to take recruiting into our own hands, knowing that Scout Talent was available whenever we needed support. I would highly recommend working with this team for your recruitment needs.

I work in the Senior Living industry and since COVID, hiring and recruitment has sufficiently changed. Scout Talent has helped my hire the right candidates by getting our job posting in front of more eyes. They also helped me understand what is not working within my posting and what sites are driving more traffic. I highly recommend Chris Stoddart and his team, he personally touch based with me weekly to review the job posting outcomes and helped me understand what we should be doing next.Secondly, I have used Scout Talent services for the last 3 years and they have consistently provided me amazing service, from using their tools to each person I have had contact with.Thanks Scout Talent !

I have so many good things to say about Scout Talent. Their staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me in the right direction with a job posting.I was amazed at how accurate, detailed and engaging they were with creating the perfect job description. Within a week I had over 100 candidates for the job. Also, their software for going through the applications is so intuitive and user-friendly that it helped make the process fun and easy. I have now hired two awesome individuals with the help of Scout Talent and I am so grateful for all of their amazing work!

Lyle and his team have been great to deal with and their campaigns have brought us a few good hires. I use them for my own companies and as a business coach, I also refer them to other clients and colleagues. The only disadvantage may be that they charge an upfront fee. But their fee is much less than traditional recruiters.
