Hi yes its Sandi Bliguin again . I want to leave a note here for other parents that this company can hypnotize you to waste your time on them. Because they had me running north to south in this city to get my daughter back in care meanwhile my sons father was making tracks with my first born that is now 21 years now and I haven't been able to properly focus on my son since he was six years old. This company causes terrible damage trying to lead your family god gives you 18 years to build these children. Don't forget that. Because this company will try to take your building time into their own hands. Your children could end up climbing walks with the haywire situations they see their parents going through. Its extrememly embarrassing for a parent that supposed to be -teaching respect in the home to have these people come in and straight up disrespect you infront of your new children. And it's totally unfair to your other children. So have to really think wisely how am I going to get this child back. I put all my heart into it and won. My son is living his rich lifestyle yet I barely got any input on how he was raised and theres things I don't agree with. If you are sure you are fit to raise your children!! Please get this company off your back !

I went to ask for support because I want to run a support group in my area and I wanted some education from JFC, they judged me because I had lived experience. I expressed my background and education.That I have a psychology degree and other accolades just to let them know I was serious. I was sent away with a frigid attitude from their coordinator. I have to say that the key to curing the mental health crisis in toronto is that we instill hope in ppl and let individuals help if they have internal motivation and a know how. I worked with the distress center for seven years so really gained valuable knowledge but this organization just suppressed me and put me in a box. This organization really has no idea how to be current in helping ppl, their views are archaic and unhelpful.

I could only imagine how these people sleep at night. Taking gods work into their own hands. How many family's they have torn apart. Yet they pose as a society or nation who's best interest are in families. Lieing to refugee s and inviting them into the country from all over the world claiming that their priority is to unite families.jfcs was innocently given a false report on my baby mother and they acted upon it for years all that resulted from this is that my daughter growing with issues and problems not to mention shes still not living with me or her mother and for whatever reason I was also barricaded from having a normal relationship with her. And based on my experience with the jfcs they left after the damage was done and didnt stick around to repair anything. If I was the bad parent knowing that I innocently falsely accused my baby mother than why isnt my daughter living with her mother. But not only did they make my baby mother out to be a bad parent knowing that the accusations weren't true but they also made me out to be a bad parent. So do they really want children to live with their parents. By God I pray for forgiveness and I repent this company ever company from ever coming into my families life. Now my baby mother is traumatized about having more children. And my family plans have been ruined.

Agent stated that no drug use was going on as being biased, believing the mother as she is a crown ward with them. Then back tracked and stated recreational drug use was okay. Little to no communication at all and just like that, closed the case without any final report given and my daughter still being able to be watched by her devil of a mother. Completely unprofessional, biased and lover of keeping kids with their drug abusing parents and not helping out when they state they can. I was instead looked at as the bad parent and they tried to push parenting classes onto me, when my daughters mom has no will in her body to pickup her own child resulting in all the transportation falling on me.

Be very careful using these people. They will lie in court and dig their claws into your life, threaten to remove your children and make you life hell. They play the judges game and will not remove themselves even if they have no basis for continuing with your file. I am told it's because they get paid as long as they have your open file and money rules them like most. Case workers are young and without children or experience, yet they believe they should have the right to rule. They are very much gender biased and side with mother's despite factual evidence.One more thing, they don't care about Judaism even thought the word is part of their name.

The receptionist is horribly rude and uninviting. She should be friendly and personable. This organization receives funding from UJA to help people in need and they give clients such a hard time with any financial request. The social workers don't do a stitch of work, they have other community agencies doing the real work and claim credit. This agency needs a revamp.

If you want your family torn apart with bureaucracy and legalities then these are the guys to go to. They claim to be a family service, but they make very little attempt at restoring a family and are more interested in exerting their power to make decisions for children... without even notifying family members! They seem more interested in having control, rather than communicating with family and doing what is best for the kids. Next time you have a problem, think twice before calling these horrible people.

Depends on what service. Offer counselling on sliding scale so if you can't no pay. And the reception is always nice. Their programs are okay some great and some terrible. Also some departments are not user friendly and many workers are rude and discriminate and manipulate as well as lie... they do offer financial help and can get you things you need for your family/home is it various
