Came here during happy hour (4-6pm) for the $1.50 oysters - very fresh and satisfying. Ordered a couple other dishes to try and we discovered that the fish & chips here are to die for! One big piece of fresh fish in thin panko crust - yummy. We didn’t have enough and ordered more. I’m not a big fan of thick greasy batter so I really enjoyed their version. The octopus salad, on the other hand, was a little fishy for me.

Came here for the HH oysters. Booked online and came at 16:15 and it was not too busy. Suggest to book if is a group.Excellent service, my server offered meaningful recommendations with her big smile all the time. Nice harbour view if able to be seated by the window. End up came here two days in a row.Will return for sure if visiting Halifax again.

Loved it here. Super friendly and considerate waitress. Ordered a Seafood Petite Tower that came with two different sets of oysters, half a lobster, tuna sashimi, halibut, and chopped scallops. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered a separate two sets of oysters which tasted quite different. Was nice trying them all. The seafood chowder was amazing as well. Highly recommend and would come here again.

Great happy hour price for oysters. Other than that things are pretty over priced. Very friendly staffs but the whole service could be more considerate. For example, hand wipes before and after seafood dishes. Had to go downstairs and open two doors with dirty hands after seafood. I would appreciate it if I was offered apron for the snow crab cuz it got messy and got on my white shirt.Appetizers are pretty disappointing.Paid 70$+ and left not even feeling full

Friendly service and delicious oysters! You should definitely get the shuck combination oysters. Seafood soup was very tasty but don’t expect it to be creamy as clam chowder. I liked calamari, it was super soft not chewy but I found it very salty. Definitely order main dish for salmon you will taste the ocean in your mouth :) the last but not least, duck wings were okay we ordered sauce on the side. For a dessert loved the creme brûlée! You won’t regret ordering it at the end!

Very nice place! Service was amazing and the food was good too. Pricing is reasonable, not cheap but on the lower end in comparison to nearby restaurants for the same foods. The facility also has a lot of eco-friendly features, one of my favourite being that the bathroom provides fresh towels for drying your hands with a basket under the sink for the used towels rather than wasteful paper towel.

I only came for HH oysters so I can only speak of that.I believe my server’s name was Maxine(?) and she was absolutely lovely! Service was excellent, and she was super helpful with everything. They had a great selection on east coast oysters the wine selection was also lovely. The kitchen staff also did a great job with oysters recommendation when I couldn’t decide what I’ve wanted. I’ll definitely come back again for HH and to try the rest of the menu! They have a cute outdoor patio and the inside was very nicely decorated as well.Definitely make a reservation if possible as it’s located downstairs of the hotel and gets filled quick quickly as soon as it opens.

The chowder is delicious. Fish&Chips is just ok. Just realized the waitress didn’t serve me sourdough bread, which should come with the chowder!!

My now husband and I had our wedding here in Aug, we were so excited when we set the date to do it at our favourite date night spot. We had a casual, indoor/outdoor cocktail style wedding and Melissa and the staff were so helpful and great every step of the way from setting the date planning and replanting the menu, set up, execution and catering to our every need. It really eliminated every worry I had as a bride of things going right at the reception and I was completely worry free. The food, especially the mini lobster rolls made specially from our request were a major crowd pleaser! Thank you so much for making our day so special! Highly recommend for any private event! For reference we had about 75 guests, indoor and outdoor bar casual seating, musician and music (with own speakers) Shuck, and the RCR group are very accommodating and it was the best day ever! Our guests raved about the food and drinks!

My boyfriend and I had a holiday. We chose this restaurant for lunch. The service was excellent. The waiter is friendly and patient. However, we do not speak English well, but the staff listened attentively to our wishes regarding the menu. Good impressions, tasty, romantic atmosphere. I ate pasta with seafood, the shrimp had an incredible taste, the scallop was tender)) 3 types of oysters - incredible)) I definitely recommend this restaurant! At least - taste oysters)
