The worst costumer service and the rudest store manager ever ! H&M should be aware of how they are ruining their reputation by having these awful costumer service provided by their store manager.I would personally never ever shop from this company anymore , because to them people can make mistakes and no body is responsible for their mistakes!

I just had a very confusing experience at this store - I went to this location to purchase a white shirt for husband and found one with a written in pen price on the tag of $31.99. When I went up to the cash, it rang up as another price (the retail price on the tag), so I asked why they didn’t honour what was written. I’ve seen H&M write different prices on tags before and it’s not up to the customer to understand the reasoning (I also took photos of other items in store that had written prices). The people at the cash said that customers write alternate prices all the time.I said that there were hundreds of items in the store with written prices, why would a random person go around writing on tags and just leave the items behind. I dropped the argument but two cashiers challenged to say that they wouldn’t honour it and they scratched out my tag so that the written price was no longer visible. This was handled poorly.

H&M Hillcrest Mall is the most disgusting store I have ever been to! First off, walking into the store I was appalled and disgusted. Clothing everywhere; on the floor, draped over racks, not on hangers. Staff members looked so stressed out that when I approached them to ask for help locating an item I was ignored! Once I made it through the mess, I found what I was looking for. First off, the rack stated sweatshirts were $17.99, not “staring from $17.99”. When stating this to the cashier she would not honour it, not to mention the attitude I received from the cashier was disgraceful! There was no line up and therefore did not go through the maze of a setup with my two children, (one being in a stroller, being hard to navigate in that type of set up, I just went straight to the cash). Again, I mentioned to the cashier that on the rack that I found the two sweatshirts there was a sign that said sweatshirts ARE $17.99. She didn’t even ask a manager. She just said she would not honour it, so then I asked her because of the inconvenience and because I spent about $80 if she would honour the promotion that was going on online, since the sweatshirt I wanted wasn’t available online. That got me no where! I did explain to her that last weekend when there was an online promotion, another H&M location I visited, honoured the online promotion due to the availability of the product online, it was not available at all. As with this product, this product was no longer available online, so I asked if she would match the price online to in-store, the cashier looked at me with such disgust. It was unbelievable, she refused to speak to a manager, nor would she allow me to speak to a manager, so I proceeded to buy the sweatshirts anyways, because I really wanted them. But do you honestly think this is the way a customer should be treated? I made sure I took video footage of the store, and the way that it looked. Not to mention the way that the lady spoke to me in front of my two children was so wrong.Not to mention, I think she had a problem with her eyes because she couldn’t stop rolling them at me. Do not go to this location; you’re better off going elsewhere!! The reviews on this location speak for itself!

Worst service ever. First of all, I paid full price on the sales item, then when trying to return right away, Apple Pay refund didn’t work. Had to go back home and pick up my physical credit card to get the refund. Even after getting refund, I realized that they were not able to give me full refund because the bag which I didn’t need in the first place, had immediate refund was possible, was not refundable! Not only I had to revisit the location for refund because of the system limitations , I didn’t even get fully refunded. Never again will I be shopping back here.

Went into the store to get a last minute dress-shirt for my uncles wedding. Michael helped me pick out the shirt and even recommended the size to me. (it fit perfectly) Thanks for helping me look great at the wedding!

Poor customer experience today. The Manager Katelyn was not professional at all. Especially in front of other customers. Please look at someone else's review also about the manager that was posted just a few days ago? That should say something. I also emailed corporate office.

I came in to exchange a hoodie from the upper Canada mall location. It had a pen mark and I only noticed it had a pen mark. Im not normally fussy but this was a white hoodie with black pen mark. I came to hillcrest because it’s close to my work. I was going to purchase two more items over returning the hoodie. The manager said “it’s not our fault that the hoodie is damaged. Its upper canadas. I’d have to write this off”. And while that is true, I’ve worked in retail and as long as tags are on and hasn’t been worn, it can be returned at any location, unless stores are individually owned. Which H&M isn’t. I had my receipt and it’s only been 2 days since purchase. I shop at H&M often but I 100% won’t return to this location. That is the definition of bad customer service. Customer service is understanding and making sure customers return and not telling them “not our problem”.

It’s clear the store is understaffed. I have a lot of clothing from HM but the one at Hillcrest really isn’t up to par. The men’s side of cashiers is always closed and is instead a sort of dumping ground, which means that the woman’s side has a line stretching from the front into the men’s side. In conclusion, it’s understaffed otherwise I wouldn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes in line at a franchise clothing store.
